before you knew you were pregnant??11 Aug 2005 07:29 GMT3
Before I knew I was pregnant, I wasn't a saint. I even went on a trip
to Vegas with friends within the first 2 weeks of pregnancy. I wasn't
planning on getting pregnant, and didn't think  I would because I was
on the pill. But, things do happen, and now, I'm very excited that

A friend had posted this on a local board and I thought that posting it here
would be much better....

Benadryl during labor?11 Aug 2005 05:10 GMT8
This is way premature, but I was thinking about whether using Benadryl
during early labor would be a good way to get some rest while I still can.
I have chronic insomnia, so I'm using Benadryl a couple times a week now to
get to sleep.  I can see myself being too excited once ...
29 weeks with a little nervousness11 Aug 2005 00:18 GMT5
Hello all. I'm 29 weeks pregnant and expecting my forst child. I'm so
excited and thrilled, but I find myself getting a little nervous -
worrying if she's going to be ok and healthy, if the birth will be ok,
etc. Is this normal? I just pray for everyhting to go well and for my

Thanks for all the replies to my previous threads.  I've read them -
it's just too damn hard to type on my side, so I've not replied, but I
really appreciate all the help, advice, and support.
So, I've been on bedrest since Sunday.  I went to my usual doc

Almost 37w update10 Aug 2005 22:44 GMT4
My visit schedule has changed from fridays to tuesdays, so I had another
check-up today. I was a bit surprised that I made it, since late last week
there were definite signs of contractions. Nothing regular, only at night,
but enough to keep me awake. Switching my daily dosage of ...

Yay! Finally some action!10 Aug 2005 17:58 GMT6
This morning I went in bright and early for a NST and to see if a
prostaglandin induction was worthwhile. It was confirmed that despite my
being 41 weeks and 2 days, my cervix was shut up tight. I decided to go
ahead with the induction and whoa boy did it get things moving. DH ...
m/c question, morning sickness10 Aug 2005 13:52 GMT15
I seem to have had a miscarriage yesterday, at around six or seven
weeks. I've had morning sickness for the past two weeks, not too bad but
unpleasant enough. When will it stop? It just doesn't seem fair to have
morning sickness while not even pregnant any more...

QUESTION:
On a more positive note - what should newborn sleep in?10 Aug 2005 03:34 GMT22
I want to have the baby sleeping very close so breastfeeding is easier.  We
already have a crib, but have been looking into bedside sleeping options.
Things we've considered are the Graco Pack n' Play w/bassinett, a regular
bassinett, moses basket, etc.
occasional light spotting at 5 months...09 Aug 2005 19:06 GMT6
I have a call into my OB's nurse.  But I have been having very light
spotting lately.  I am just over 5 months pregnant.  This is not after sex
or any other activities.  Is this normal, or should I be really concerned?
Help!09 Aug 2005 17:13 GMT10
Hello.  My name is Greta and I am somewhat of a newcomer.  I am in
quite a predicament and I wonder if anyone has any suggestions.  I got
a statement from my insurance company for my daughter's birth, and it
stated that they will not cover anything because she was not on the
Updating the status of the uterus09 Aug 2005 07:38 GMT4
Let me start off by stating that I'm up at 4 am because I had to go
potty, not necessarily because the contractions woke me up. AND, by
posting this I know that this is just going to intensify everyone's
desire to watch the pot come to a boil, lol. It's all good.
