I've been in a sort of subdued freak out about those marks on Shiny's back
for a couple weeks. We got to the doc today.... who laughed and said they
were BOTH birthmarks, just two different kinds. One looks exactly like a
brown bruise, only it's pigmented skin,  closer to a ...

My edd is tomorrow.  At my appt on Wed the midwife said I have lots of
room in there and she wouldn't be surprised if the baby is in no hurry
to come out and that I could go over 42 wks.
Depressing news as I have planned for an intervention free homebirth

Well I have only 6 weeks to go till our baby Girl is due (the time has
flown!) ... I have been suffering with Sciatica at the top of my legs for a
week, I always get that.
I am experiencing horrid pain in my hips and low down towards my pubic bone

DS was born at 39w1d.  I'm now 39w1d, and no signs
of labor.  *sigh*.  Big, and tired, and sick of
swollen hands and feet and ready to trade in this set
of discomforts for the next!

I've just read in a book (and of course because it's in a book it MUST be
true) that you should never leave a baby unattended in a capsule that you've
brought in from the car, or in a pram as their head can tip forwards and
their airways become blocked.  I would have thought the ...

Just got back from my weekly OB visit and NST. Had to
wait around a bit, since a couple of people needed the NST
machines.  But, as I kept telling folks there, my calendar
is clear, so it's not like I was in a rush.

Just wondering how your baby bump is doing now and if your bleeding has now
stopped?????

A massage therapist told me the other day that apparantley if the baby is
the wrong way round there is a particular pressure point used in
accupuncture which turns the baby around naturally ready to deliver.  Of
course I'm nowhere near being ready for that (not due for months ...
