37 week update27 Sep 2005 23:49 GMT4
Well I can't quite believe I am this far already! This pregnancy has flown
by.
I am not uncomfortable like I was with the boys, there's no feeling of 'get
this baby out'. In part that's because this baby feels much smaller,

I've been wanting to post, but my server has been down the last day and a

Yesterday, we went to see the perinatologist.  Saw a different one again.  I
was all geared up to refuse an induction, but it wasn't even brought up!!
Vaginal Exam/Stripping of Membranes27 Sep 2005 21:31 GMT14
Okay, here's another question.  I would normally not consider having any
vaginal exams or having my membranes stripped, but this pregnancy is
obviously a bit different.  Would this be something you'd consider doing if
you were in my position?  One of the doctors mentioned this as an ...

headache26 Sep 2005 20:15 GMT15
What medicine is safe to take for a headache? I'm three months along.
It's not a particularly awful headache, but I'm trying to get some work
done and it's annoying.
(It might be a touch of caffeine withdrawal -- my usual tea makes me
I can't sleep because the baby inside my is awake!26 Sep 2005 19:23 GMT4

starts moving around it feels like a pinball machine is going on in
there. The baby is the ball and will you get the picture. It's not that

No baby yet - scheduled c-section25 Sep 2005 22:15 GMT10
All these contractions and labor signs, and I've not made any progress at
all.  STILL 1 cm dilated, 50% effaced and -1 station.  When I was being
monitored the other day, her heartrate kept dropping to the low 100's (I
think the lowest it actually got was 106) and that is making ...
Hack... hack... hack...25 Sep 2005 21:46 GMT19
Two days ago I woke up with a very sore throat & accompanying cough.  I
wasn't too bothered, as I didn't feel particularly ill, and at least the
cough was productive - I would cough, phlegm would come up, I would stop
coughing, no big deal.
Nexium while pregnant25 Sep 2005 18:10 GMT2
Is there anyone out there who took Nexium (or whose pregnant spouse took
Nexium) continuously during pregnancy, including the first trimester?
There's not much data out there... it would be comforting to hear of
healthy babies born to mothers who took Nexium.  Please hold back ...
Slept through a diaper change?25 Sep 2005 17:49 GMT12
My 9 day old son just slept through a diaper change.
With DS1 such a thing would be unheard of.  I'm wondering
if I should worry??

For an infant whose blood glucose levels are really low, why give IV
dextrose as opposed to another sugar?
Brown Spotting - Help Please (Graphic)24 Sep 2005 06:01 GMT12
I looked for a proper group to put this, but this is the closest I
could find. FIrst, thank you for reading and any advice is great.
I am 33 years old and miscarried at 10 weeks in early June. I didn't
have a D&C because I miscarried in the ER and the attending said
Lead test for paint?23 Sep 2005 23:47 GMT3
Is there any way to test a paint to see if it contains lead?  We are
debating buying a bedroom set that is painted, it is 27 years old
though.  We would really like to refinish it to be wood stained rather
then painted.
