| Have you gone into labour when the head was free? | 08 Oct 2005 17:28 GMT | 5 |
I have always gone into labour with the head fully engaged, but this time my baby's head is free and she is high. Will this make any difference to the length/difficulty of my labour, and will it affect labour starting as some people say the head stimulates the

| Annabelle's Birth Story | 08 Oct 2005 06:02 GMT | 15 |
We got to the hospital and got set up in a birthing room. I was having regular contractions, but nothing real strong, about 6 minutes apart. As 9 am approached, I started to get very nervous, but after awhile it subsided. I was wheeled into the c-section room and my spinal was ...

| Sling/Baby Carrier recommendations | 08 Oct 2005 04:27 GMT | 9 |
I used a Maya wrap sling for my last baby, and while I like it a lot, it does make my shoulder ache when worn for long periods of time. I also would like a baby carrier that can be worn under a coat, since I'm due in December. I'm considering the Podaegi -- has anyone had

| Advice for Dads | 08 Oct 2005 00:08 GMT | 38 |
I don't care what you read as to how you can help with the pain of childbirth there is nothing that you can do when your wife or girlfriend is in labour with the pain....I just found that out!

| TMI sorry! | 07 Oct 2005 21:09 GMT | 4 |
I am losing (after a few days of clear discharge) lumps of pale white rubbery discharge. Is this normal? When I have lost my plug with the others it was just thin & clear with streaks of blood.

| First appt tomorrow | 07 Oct 2005 06:04 GMT | 3 |
I have my first appt tomorrow. I'm about 8 wks give or take a few days. I have already made one trip to the hospital for IV fluids and Zofran and lost 10lbs. Now my spotting has turned into full on bleeding-but it's very dark or brown and no cramping. I'm a bit anxious to see what

Happy Belated Birthday, Anne! Remember when I said October 5 was a significant date?? Not only was it your birthday, but it was significant because Grant came home. I thought that was cool. :)

| TTC Update | 06 Oct 2005 23:55 GMT | 6 |
I haven't posted much, but here I am still TTC after being off the bcp since March. I had my annual OB/GYN visit yesterday and it was horrible. It was a doctor I haven't seen before, and right off the bat I know I'm not going to like

| hard belly? | 06 Oct 2005 23:05 GMT | 3 |
This is my first pregnancy, so I have no idea what's normal and what's not. Here's my question - does your belly feel HARD when you're pregnant? I can feel exactly where the baby's house ends and the flab begins...it feels funny, like I've got a very well-inflated volleyball

| I'm being dumb but... | 06 Oct 2005 23:05 GMT | 18 |
I know I'm being dumb. I'm feeling better so this is good and expected! I'm 11-12 weeks, somewhere in there :-) I'm just being a paranoid person because I've had four nights in a row of the same bad omen dream. That is not anything that I do/have. It is just freaking me out ...

| Nearly 25 weeks | 06 Oct 2005 22:55 GMT | 2 |
I had a C-section last time. For a while now, the area under my bump - pretty much exactly where the scar is - has been aching, particularly when I move. I don't remember this from last time. Could it be connected with the

Well, despite knowing the gender since 25 weeks, we have a name for our little boy in the usual amount of time it's taken to name our other ones. We drive our relatives nuts! So....

| Quick update | 06 Oct 2005 10:00 GMT | 6 |
Grant has been doing great! It looks like he might be discharged today!! I'm pretty excited a little scared! I feel like a first time mom, and in a way, I think I am. There are so many little things I have to watch for, but it will just be so wonderful to introduce him to

| I had in the past | 06 Oct 2005 04:48 GMT | 2 |
