I have always gone into labour with the head fully engaged, but this time my
baby's head is free and she is high.
Will this make any difference to the length/difficulty of my labour, and
will it affect labour starting as some people say the head stimulates the

We got to the hospital and got set up in a birthing room.  I was having
regular contractions, but nothing real strong, about 6 minutes apart.  As 9
am approached, I started to get very nervous, but after awhile it subsided.

I used a Maya wrap sling for my last baby, and while I like it a lot,
it does make my shoulder ache when worn for long periods of time.  I

I don't care what you read as to how you can help with the pain of
childbirth there is nothing that you can do when your wife or girlfriend is
in labour with the pain....I just found that out!

I am losing (after a few days of clear discharge) lumps of pale white
rubbery discharge. Is this normal?
When I have lost my plug with the others it was just thin & clear with
streaks of blood.

I have my first appt tomorrow. I'm about 8 wks give or take a few days.
I have already made one trip to the hospital for IV fluids and Zofran
