I had my weekly appointment today. I'm still only 1 cm dialated, but her head is down low in my pelvis and the doctor could feel it moving around in there. Amazing! Although, when the he did the exam, it was SO uncomfortable and it hurt! It always makes my bleed and cramp for a bit

I had this done Saturday and was told I was 75% effaced and my cervix was slightly posterior. Anyway saw blood on the midwifes glove who said "you know it's done right when you see that". Contrax started right away, but saw no blood or anything for the 1st night

I am in my 20th week, so far all test results (blood, AFP Screening), examinations indicated everything is normal with baby. AFP exam was very good, as it indicated in my case chances of having down syndrome is 1 in 9500(whatever that meant).. We went for an ultrasound

I am now 1 week overdue.. decided to have my membranes swept. Before it was done was surprised - I was 75% effaced and cervix was towards the front.. usually I have a long hard cervix right round the back right upto just before labour starts.

I would like to know if IUD replacing can be done in one doctor visit. Some people say in the first visit, they will remove IUD, and in the second (some days later), they will insert a new one. Is that true? Thanks.
