The night cramps have started again.
Last night was a stinkeroo.  Twice I was woken by agonising cramps, in
the same place, the muscles bunching like fists under the skin, me
stamping around the bedroom crying.
contact lenses - can you wear them during delivery?21 Oct 2005 20:23 GMT12
I am new to contacts, but it crossed my mind that they might not be allowed
during delivery for whatever reason.  Is there any issue with wearing them?
I'd sure like to be able to see my daughter when she's born!  I hate wearing
glasses...

I wanted to ask if any of you have had this happen.

Crawl Aquarium. She had pulled off one of the toys that hangs by
velcro, which has another plastic toy you attach to it that faces such

Still here. Had my third weekly NST/amniotic fluid level check. All is
well. Head is down. Baby is very active - not so much kicking as
stretching in every direction repeatedly. They did the GBS swab today.
My doc asked if I wanted to be checked (internal exam) and I said no

Experience with water birth?19 Oct 2005 04:16 GMT13
My first child was born unmedicated and I'm determined that this one will be
too.   Several weeks ago my midwife asked why I was not signed up for a
water birth.  I never even considered it.   After she explained how it is
easier to cope with pain, decreases interventions and is ...
RESULT19 Oct 2005 01:25 GMT2
I forgot to tell you all but I managed to get a result with the little girls
mother the other day, she actually decided to take the little one to the
doctors after I had an indirect forceful dig in her direction. I told the
mother that I wouldnt babysit her daughter anymore or go ...
Any Baby Slings in Canada?19 Oct 2005 01:07 GMT11
Does anyone know where I can get one? I don't mean the Baby Bjorn
carriers where the concept is the legs hang out, this product is a
sling to tie on so you more or less wear your baby. There's one in
BabysRUs in the States but they don't seem to carry them in Canada and

I take co-dodamol (codeine and tylenol), for my SPD and related pain I have
usually taken it in tablet form, the tablets are quite big, 1cm across and
not well coated, so they taste BAD, I have some difficulty swallowing them,
though not particularly bad (I would vomit instantly ...
Small soft spot on baby?19 Oct 2005 00:20 GMT10
Annabelle had her 2 week checkup today.  A day after her birth, her
pediatrician checked her out and mentioned that her soft spot was small but
she would keep an eye on it.  Today, she mentioned it again.  She said that
it will probably correct itself, but if it doesn't, it could ...
