Costco and Huggies: What gives?11 Oct 2005 01:08 GMT3
I was at Costco the other day, trying to get
diapers (among other things).  We use Huggies
(they fit DS1 well and are fitting DS2 well so
far), and DS2 (13 lbs) is currently in size 1
Why should men support breast cancer11 Oct 2005 01:07 GMT11
Why should men support breast cancer because breast
to a girl is like a dick to a man.
He is home!10 Oct 2005 23:48 GMT28
We brought our little guy home yesterday!  It has just been amazing how well
he's been doing.  If I sit and really, really think of the surgeries he's
been through it boggles my mind how great he's doing.  When we were told
what to expect, we were told to expect a 10-14 day stay, ...

At night fall our only girl Madison starts to whinge and cry as if the
switch has been flicked to on.She sleeps well at night(12 hours) and is not
too bad during daylight hours. Anybody else know what I mean?
giving a new born baby water10 Oct 2005 19:22 GMT32
Our daughter is 16 days old today.
The wife wants to give her water so she does not eat so much food
(bottle).
Is there such a thing as over feeding a baby with bottle milk. I think
23 week old baby with a cold 10 Oct 2005 15:00 GMT7
Emily-Rose has a cold, stuffed and runny nose, and finding it hard to breathe through her nose.
As you ca imagine it's rather difficult getting her to breastfeed or take from a bottle when she is struggling to breathe.
I've tried a large holed teat on a sippy cup, very messy, but ...
The Pill10 Oct 2005 13:39 GMT2
Hi I was wondering if anyone knows how long it takes for your body to get
into a monthly cycle after coming of the pill.
I already have a daughter but it took 3 years to conceive and she is nearly
2 and I would like to try for another one. I have been off the pill since
I don't feel pregnant yet - worrying10 Oct 2005 00:08 GMT13
I'm somewhere between 6 and 10 weeks pregnant, and other than fatigue
(which might be due more to my one year old than the pregnancy), I am
yet to feel "pregnant" at all.  No nausea, absolutely no breast
tenderness, and I've even lost weight.
night sweats09 Oct 2005 21:07 GMT3
I'm having awful night sweats lately, waking up with the sheets soaking.
I'm on Zoloft, which gave me night sweats when I first started taking
it, but I thought those had stopped.
Are night sweats a pregnancy delight that I skipped the first time
Gestational Diabetes management questions09 Oct 2005 20:17 GMT13
My wife has just been diagnosed with GD, in an otherwise fit, healthy
pregnancy.
I'll be bringing many of these questions to her GD specialty-care team,
but would also like any opinions anyone out there has.
i feel like a turtle...09 Oct 2005 05:12 GMT3
I had hard times getting out of bed this morning.  At 31 weeks, my hips and
low back don't feel like they belong to me anymore!  It takes a great deal
of floundering around, twisting and rolling and swing arms and legs to get
upright in the morning.  I feel so old!  I walk up the ...
And the saga with Mother continues...09 Oct 2005 03:25 GMT3
Oh well.. I should have known. I always knew, in fact, but it doesn't change
the sore feelings.
You see, DH and I have decided to build a brand new house in a brand new
residential development. The house will be constructed from scratch, we have

I've been pretty quiet since summer because things got pretty busy -
ended up having to make a rushed trip home to Australia with DS to see
my Nana before she died. She was 98 and it was time, and I've been
through the panicked last minute trans-Pacific flight with DS before
Questions to make you think...09 Oct 2005 02:04 GMT6
I'm thinking ahead to my 40th birthday "wild women's weekend" gathering in
March, and thinking about a "get to know you" conversation starter type of
thing.  I'm thinking of a basket in the middle of the floor with questions
in it.  Anyone who wants to can reach into the basket ...
hypnobirth and no pushing?08 Oct 2005 20:45 GMT38
I just read Marie Mongan's book on HypnoBirthing, and thought it was pretty
good.  I can see myself using a lot of the techniques during labor (DH can't
handle going to classes due to social anxiety).
The only thing that really made me go "huh?" was the assertion that pushing
