alarming weight gain - post pregnancy weight loss plan30 Nov 2005 20:02 GMT21
I am now past 38 wks, and haven't been on the scale for awhile.  Hopped on
last night and was amazed to see 170!  I started out at 125...  This is of
course in the evening, when I'm generally full of dinner, and I am starting
to swell a bit, but still, I can't believe how big I ...
Q for co-sleepers30 Nov 2005 19:48 GMT21
I am curious about your practical experience as co-sleeping parents on
the following questions:
1. How do you deal with the child needing to go to bed before you?
2. What do you do for daytime naps?
email appropriate to let people know?30 Nov 2005 17:04 GMT11
Just about to make up a contact list for DH to let people know when baby
arrives, (still got 5 weeks, but just getting organized) and I was wondering
in general what people think about emailing family/friends.  I guess
immediate family would probably merit a call, but what are ...
Weird sickness with my 10 month old? Vomiting?30 Nov 2005 15:26 GMT5
Little John has had a rough week. Hes had a fever the last few days of
no more that 102.5. He had all the classic cold symptoms as well as a
rash on both cheeks. We treated him with the typical otc infant stuff
to keep the fever in check and now his fever is gone. Heres the thing

When would be a good time to work out my birth plan, I am now 27 wks
pregnant so is now a good time or is it too early. I never really bothered
with my last two births but am thinking about doing one with this one.
How about the hospital bag, is it too early or should I be ...

cough suppressants29 Nov 2005 10:12 GMT4
Are any nighttime cough suppressants safe to take while pregnant? (I can
check with a nurse by phone, but I've found it works best if I call with
a specific brand rather than asking them for a list.) I've had a
terrible cough the last few nights and fantasize about the bottle of

I have just past 2 pregnancy tests with the home kit, and plan on
visiting a doctor ASAP.  I am a bit worried since I have had a few
occurences of slight bleeding nothing heavy and feel very bloated.
Can anyone advise. There seems to be so much information to read out
Unsuccessful TTC28 Nov 2005 21:31 GMT7
If all conditions are perfect for TTC (i.e., ovulation is happening, the
test line of an OPT is very purple indicating it's the best time to TTC),
what would cause the egg & sperm to not meet up thus resulting in an
unsuccessful pregnancy?

baby's position28 Nov 2005 17:02 GMT2
I've just started week 31, and now starting to obsess about baby's
position. I started actively trying to find her position about 2 weeks
ago (a week before my doctor's appointment) . Since then I've felt her
change position, but for the last week or so she's consistently been

Triple Screen as standard procedure?28 Nov 2005 13:36 GMT19
Is this just the normal thing in pregnancy now?
I had my 8wk visit today, and all is well...I'm only 'high risk'
because I m/c'd once and am 36. Otherwise no risk factors, so OB is
just watching things carefully right now. I did chicken out on
Faintness28 Nov 2005 13:11 GMT4
For a couple of weeks now I've been feeling very faint at times.  I
haven't actually fainted but it has come close.  It always happens in
the shower, could easily happen if I am standing still, and even when I
am sitting up.
