when does water retention become a concern?02 Nov 2005 14:46 GMT4
During my last pregnancy, towards the end I retained so much water my blood
pressure was up considerably, I went from a size 7 to size 9 shoe, and I had
constant ringing and swishing in my ears.  My sock lines are like a half
inch deep and don't go away for hours after I take ...
EDD, SDI and short term disability02 Nov 2005 14:32 GMT1
I have a question about short term disability. I am not pregnant, but I
have seen many similar questions post and answered here.
I recently broken my achilles and stayed at home for two weeks. My
employeer has short term disability insurance from a private insurancer
Baby's head growth after birth question02 Nov 2005 10:23 GMT14
DH attended the "Just for Dad's" class yesterday. He was thrilled to
bits about it, and just would not stop talking about it. (Everything
they told him was basically everything *I* had told him for several
months and that he had ignored, but now of course, everything has
anyone else experienced pain in c-section scar in 3rd trimester?02 Nov 2005 09:04 GMT5
I'm at 33 weeks on Wednesday and have increasing pain on one side where a
c-section scar is.  It was just painful when bending but now I'm actually
limping and having to walk very slowly and it's getting more painful.  It is
tender when I press it gently.  I'm seeing my midwife ...
Transverse Breech Questions02 Nov 2005 05:29 GMT12
I am new to posting to this NG.  I participate mainly in
alt.infertility.pregnancy.  Anyway, I am 36 weeks pregnant as of today.  I
had an u/s yesterday and my baby is in transverse breech position.  It was
suggested to me to post about this in this NG by another member in
Probably an overdone joke but too funny02 Nov 2005 05:19 GMT3
Thought this was cute and wanted to share!

Erin Elizabeth made her entrance into the world on the 26th October weighing
7lbs 11ozs - and what an angel she is!
After vomiting all day I had another check up.. I was contracting but not
dilating was only 1 cm still.. I was sent to another hospital for rest.
The Birth of Grant/Part 202 Nov 2005 00:23 GMT3
I woke up rather slowly the morning of my EDD, September 29 after pretty
much a full night's sleep.  I had a dream before I woke up.  In the dream I
was with my two sisters, and I was having a contraction.  I was going to
have the baby!  I leaned against my sister and the other one ...
The Birth of Grant/Part 101 Nov 2005 21:56 GMT1
It's my shortest birth but my longest story!  Baby #4 was due September 29,
2005.  I figured I would be having an October baby as my other three babies
went 41 and 1/2 weeks.   I was planning a homebirth, and I was very excited
about the prospect of having a fourth.  My sisters were ...
baby products (clothing) by poster?01 Nov 2005 21:36 GMT1
I don't remember who it was, but a poster here posted her website of
baby/kids clothing that she makes. She was just starting. I am real bad
at names, but I want to say Jen or someone in NY?
Oh Gosh I am real bad at explaining too :)) Anyway, if anyone deciphers
Falling Down01 Nov 2005 17:26 GMT3
I am just at 30 weeks today and on my way into the office I fell forward
onto my hands and knees. Other than my bruised ego, the baby still moved
about normally. I did not hit my belly at all but was surprised at the
momentum the baby created in making me fall forward.
Expecta -- DHA supplement01 Nov 2005 07:40 GMT2
I'm 7 weeks pregnant with #2 and I had my first prenatal appointment
with the nurse.  I received the welcome bag with some samples and one
of them is a DHA supplement for pregnant and nursing women.  I've only
heard of that in formula.  The name of the product is expecta and it
subchorionic hematoma--anyone know anything?01 Nov 2005 04:23 GMT11
No, it's not me.  But one of my best friends is currently 7 weeks pregnant
and has been bleeding off and on since implantation.  She had an ultrasound
last week and a subchorionic hematoma (blood clot in the uterus) was
detected.  She was told it measures 2.8 x 3.1 x 1.4 cm and is ...
