Wind players and pregnancy20 Nov 2005 14:00 GMT9
I am a Master's student in classical saxophone performance.  My husband
and I would like to start a family soon, but if I were pregnant, what
effect would that have on my performance?  I am concerned by what I
have heard about symptoms of breathlessness - could I still make it
Another pseudoephedrine purchase rant (sorry)20 Nov 2005 05:00 GMT12
I asked a while back about people's problems in various states and
countries purchasing Sudafed or pseudoephedrine products, and I just
had to write a quick post on my latest frustration.
Our "Meth Watch" laws just became a bit more strict, and now, my local
TENS machines19 Nov 2005 18:46 GMT14
I've been looking on ebay for a maternity tens machine.  They're cheap
enough, even new a lot of them are cheaper than renting, so why not?
But they all say *they* are the best, and I don't know who to believe.
Can anyone please tell me what to look for in a maternity tens ...
New Baby Related Goods Swap Site19 Nov 2005 18:16 GMT4
My husband works for a newspaper and just received a press release about
this new webiste.  I'm not associated with this website in any way, just
sharing the information.  I do have a set of 5 Avent bottles for sale,
though. ;-)
Pregnancy - the male perspective19 Nov 2005 06:35 GMT16
Hello all, I am just putting together a website (wiki, blog, forum &
gallery) aimed directly at men. There are thousands of websites aimed at
mother and baby, but hardly any for us men. I am hoping that this site will
provide a community for men to share their thought and ...
Sick 14-month-old - advice?19 Nov 2005 00:29 GMT21
I know this is a pregnancy forum, but as many of you have kids, I
thought I'd run this one by you...

infection.  Last Tuesday, she was prescribed Omnicef.  She seemed
Resuming sex postpartum?18 Nov 2005 22:52 GMT12
I know the "standard" is to wait 6 weeks before having intercourse.  I'm 3
1/2 weeks postpartum now.  No more bleeding and I feel great (except for
strep throat..blah).  Is it safe to have intercourse?  I'm terrified of it
hurting!
length of pregnancy from implantation?18 Nov 2005 22:25 GMT19
I have heard that pregnancy is about 38 weeks from ovulation, but does
anyone know what the estimated time would be from implantation?  I know most
people wouldn't know when implantation occurred, but for those who
experience implantation bleeding, would this give an even more ...
nuchal fold in 20 week ultrasound causing distress 18 Nov 2005 12:33 GMT11
I recently had my ultrasound at 19 weeks and 6 days. The baby's
maeasurements indicated that he was bigger than the gestational estimated
date that was calculted. My doctor told me the baby was measuring at 20
weeks and 5 days. Everything was normal, i.e. his limbs, spine, brain and
Questions.....18 Nov 2005 07:38 GMT2
Ok, why is it that even though I am on the patch, there comes a point
when I keep thinking I'm pregnant? My back is killing me, my stomach is
upset, I can't sleep.....ugh! My stomach feels sore, like someone is
squeezing it. Not like a normal stomachache, but a kicked-in-the-tummy

How big can they get?17 Nov 2005 17:26 GMT5
...my feet, that is. Good lord! They went from almost 10 1/2 to almost
11 in my first pregnancy. Now I seem to be outgrowing my size 11 shoes.
(For non-Americans, this that if my feet grow any more I'm going to have
to shop at stores catering to transvestites.)

General Ligament Question17 Nov 2005 01:59 GMT5
So, I have some weird pains off and on.  I'm guessing they're ligament
pains, but since I've never really seen ligament pains described I
can't be sure.  I'll be sure to ask my midwife about my specific pains
next week, but I'm just wondering if this is what other people have
Finally found something to worry about....17 Nov 2005 00:32 GMT4
I'm usually pretty sanguine about my pregnancies...but something odd
happened last pregnancy that I shrugged off, but it happened this

pregnant last time, and soon after moving, my skin got seriously itchy.
