Time flies! I'm loving being a mum of 2, very little sign of any postnatal
depression, there were a couple of blips in August and we put my medication
up a little, we reviewed it with the psychiatrist and the plan is to stay on
that amount until Ada's first birthday and then if ...
Now I feel guilty....09 Nov 2005 02:07 GMT3
In the past pg I only had a midwife, but when I was m/c'ing I needed an
OB once it became a medical issue. So I found my current doc whom I
love. She's excellent, very open.  At my appt post-m/c she told me that
as she was no longer doing deliveries anyway, she'd see me thru the
failed 1 hour glucose test by 1 point08 Nov 2005 23:37 GMT2
I usually just lurk here, but today I have an issue I'm hoping to get
some input on...hope it's okay to just pop in!
Yesterday I took the one hour glucose test and failed it by one point.
I drank the glucose drink (did not fast or alter my usual diet in any

Anyone have any good name sites out there.
We have a few nailed down but not 100% on them.  We are looking for
non-traditional names. Oh is a boy and I'm 34 weeks along.....

Natural baby skin care products08 Nov 2005 21:23 GMT1
I have been looking for some natural skin care products to use on my 6 month
year old, as I am concerned about recent research into
parabens/preservatives in most baby lotions, baths, shampoo etc. I have come
across Trevarno and Aubrey Organics ranges at www.pureskincare.co.uk ...
32 w appointment08 Nov 2005 19:36 GMT5
I apologize in advance if posting appointment updates is not the norm.
I had my 32w appointment yesterday. Was a mixed bag really. I've gained
1 lb in 2 weeks. I was measuring 2 weeks behind (measuring 30 cm) and I
had trace sugar in my urine.

35 wks, engaged, 3cm dilated, 50% effaced08 Nov 2005 01:35 GMT1
Maybe we won't be making it to December 11th after all!  Went in for a check
up today.  My bp is in a higher but still safe range, and will be closely
monitored.  But the big news was that I'm 3cm dilated and 50% effaced, and
the baby is dropped into the pelvis ready to go.  No ...

Loved this... 20 ways a baby will change your life...
1. You look at your baby in the mirror instead of yourself.
2. You finally stop to smell the roses, because your baby is in your arms.
3. Where you once believed you were fearless, you now find yourself afraid.

Hi Peeps
I have a lavender wheatbag that my hubby brought for me a few weeks back for
later pregnancy and labour but I have lost the instructions and not sure how
long it needs to go into the microwave, does anybody have any idea, I dont
Fetus-expulsion reflex vs. fetus-ejection reflex07 Nov 2005 20:22 GMT2
FETUS-EXPULSION REFLEX VS. FETUS-EJECTION REFLEX
"This reflex muscular contraction which reflects the straining movements in
normal delivery may be called the fetus-expulsion reflex and does not occur
in [bilaterally pelvic neurectomized/BPN] rats. It differs from the
protecting the mattress in case water breaks in bed?07 Nov 2005 20:09 GMT13
Last pregnancy my water broke while I was sleeping.  Fortunately, at that
time I was sleeping so poorly I was sleeping on the floor in the living room
on an old piece of foam rubber.  However....We recently bought a spendy
tempurpedic mattress and I would really hate to mess it ...
37 wks, not engaged, but doing well!07 Nov 2005 19:54 GMT11
Well, I've hit the 37 week mark!  Yay!
Feeling the typical tired, sore, grumpy, bored with being pregnant, but no
major complications.  The pubic bone pain is manageable if I just admit that
I can't do everything I want to do and rest a lot.  I have 3.5 days left of
update on boy or girl07 Nov 2005 05:04 GMT6
I thought that we were going to find out what our baby was but as it
turns out it had other plans. It refused to let us see its sex. It took
one from momy's book, I did the same thing to my parents. So what to
do?  We want to know but the only thing to do is wait.  We're still
Mixed Feelings07 Nov 2005 04:00 GMT6
I am close to 31 weeks today, and have quite suddenly developed mixed
feelings about the pregnancy. I love and want this baby very much, and
so these feelings scare me even more.
I'm feeling angry that I can't do a lot of things that I could do pre-
