UK Question BBC Doctors17 Dec 2005 14:44 GMT2
Hi Peeps

countries get the drama Doctors. Yesterday George went into labour and gave
birth to a little girl but then shortly after she went into cardiac arrest,

Skip over the last two days spent in hospital with a suspected pulmonary

And I'm just too tired to tell much of a story, except to say that Emily
arrived ON her due date, the 11th, weighing 7lbs 7oz.  Delivered with help
from IV pain meds as well as an epidural.  She came out with 2 pushes!
I'm exhausted.  I have hemmorhoid thrombosis, which may ...

Greetings all :)  I've been lurking a long time and have posted a few
times over the years.  You guys got me through one pregnancy (now a 16

19 Week Update16 Dec 2005 19:34 GMT4
So, I've passed the 19 week mark.  Only a few more days 'til I reach
the half-way point!  In some ways, it seems to have passed really
quickly but most of the time it feels like there's still just so much
time left.  I've been feeling what I think is quite a bit of movement

I was made aware that during pregnancy your hair is SUPPOSED to be more
healthy ect but recently my hair has taken a complete tumble and constantly
feels like yuck, its dry and lifeless. I usually use pantene which usually
6 more months of this?15 Dec 2005 22:10 GMT6
A stuffy nose I mean!
Conception coincided with the onset of cold/flu season so this may be
coincidental. No flu for me, fortunately, but since I was a few weeks
pregnant, I've had a stupid stuffed up nose. It was a full blown cold
What to eat/drink in third trimester - midwife's advice15 Dec 2005 21:09 GMT46
Just thought I'd pass this on in case anyone could use it:
My midwife recommended this evening that in the third trimester I eat
and drink nothing that I wouldn't offer my (hypothetical) two-year old
child.
Not exactly energetic by nature15 Dec 2005 19:32 GMT10
Okay, this is going to be one silly question:
I'm not the most energetic person by nature, some might even call me
lazy (not always undeservedly).  I was curious if anyone here would
have described themselves in the same way prior to having a baby, and
Is there anyone out there? Off the pill and no cycles!15 Dec 2005 19:21 GMT2
I was on the pill for 10 years between ages 19-29.  I had my period the
following two months going off the pill.  Then, it just stopped.  Three
months nothing.  My doctor perscribed progesterone.  Very light period.
Two months nothing.  I had a pap smear and blood test.  I was told
Feeling the uterus15 Dec 2005 17:01 GMT10
My wife is 20 weeks pregnant and seems to enjoy pressing her fingers
into her belly to feel her uterus hoping to feel baby movements.
Is there any harm in doing this too often?
Thanks,

"The baby is pretty well protected in there..."15 Dec 2005 00:31 GMT1
I hear this phrase so often around here, and it immediately came to mind
when I saw this news story:
