Hi Nikki,

Positive Test :)14 Dec 2005 13:54 GMT9
I thought I'd me jumping around....but in stead I am filled with this
lovely calm.  After trying so long, the clomid "crazies", and the last
miscarriage when I had not managed to make Hgc (or is it hcg), to see
that line on the lest last night is so wonderful.  I have to tell you I

job I did as protene was found in the sample. I got to go back next week to

Ovulation question...14 Dec 2005 04:55 GMT3
Is ovulating 19 days past my period considered to be normal or a little
later than usual?
To me it seems a little late but I'm not sure.  I *do* have fairly
irregular periods sometimes but they've been fairly regular over the
18 Week Update13 Dec 2005 22:57 GMT2
It's been quite a long and stressful 18 weeks. Everything now is great and I
hope it stays that way. At 7 weeks I was having some really bad pains in one
side and the doctor thought it may be an etopic pregnancy so she sent me for
an ultrasound and it showed nothing out of the ...
Advice needed re test after possible miscarriage13 Dec 2005 19:25 GMT5
Hi guys, My girlfriend and I had a very strange day today. We are very
anxious about her pregnancy as she was having some stomach cramps and
mild discharge. We were referred by her doctor for an ultrasound where
we were told the baby appeared to be only 3.2mm and around  5 1/2 to 6
4 years ago today..13 Dec 2005 17:14 GMT3
Just a note to say that my daughter was born at home 4 years ago today!
I can't believe it's been 4 years!  I shared every step of my
pregnancy and birth with this newsgroup, so it's seems fitting to share
this bittersweet moment with the group.
Could I buy temporary health insurance to cover the cost of birth?13 Dec 2005 16:32 GMT24
I just had this probably crazy idea: since the health insurance plan I
have through my employer doesn't cover midwife care and I'd like to
have a home birth, could I buy supplemental temporary insurance just
for this?

pain relief options13 Dec 2005 07:32 GMT14
Went to antenatal classes last night at the hospital we're booked in at and
the topic was pain relief etc - Was pretty good in the fact that they say
they try not to push it, and only offer it if you ask for it but wanted us
to be aware of the different side effects etc.  Also ...
prenatal classes13 Dec 2005 04:32 GMT28
  Hi all,
I was just wondering howmany of you have attended prenatal classes? My doctor is insisting that we attend prenatal classes so that we can be prepared but I am just wondering how neccessary these classes are. Frankly, I am afraid that the videos that they show in ...
Way OT: Any Londoners out there?12 Dec 2005 22:13 GMT5
My step-daughter is going to be taking a semester in London, and we've no
idea how much spending money she'll need.  Specifically, I'm wondering
1) how much she could reasonably expect to pay for groceries in a month
2) how much a decent meal at a college-hang-out-type restaurant ...
SIDS and Dummies12 Dec 2005 21:13 GMT47
Interesting article on the BBC News site:
http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/health/4509240.stm
They claim that using a dummy can reduce the risk of cot death.
not to start controversy, but has anyone ever considered plastic surgery?12 Dec 2005 21:00 GMT24
I was watching the Discovery Health channel the other day, "Plastic Surgery:
Before and after".  I was fascinated by the transformations.  I'm sure they
only show the most dramatic ones, but I can't help but think about a boob
job and tummy tuck.  Even after I lost all my ...
