just lost mucous plug - what could this mean?08 Dec 2005 21:51 GMT10
I'm 40 wks now.  As you know, since wk 30 I've had preterm labor symptoms.
Knowing when labor is starting "for sure" is a bit challenging, because in
the past few days, there have been periods of strong regular ctx coming
every 5-7 min.  But after about 2 hrs, it has always ...
More problems (ickiness mentioned)08 Dec 2005 05:34 GMT8
Yesterday (Monday) morning first thing I had an appointment at the
diabetic clinic.  Recent readings have been pretty bad & it was agreed
all round that I should try insulin again.
Blood pressure was 94/58.  WTF?  It's normally 120/75 or thereabouts
Okay, what is the deal with my gigantic belly?08 Dec 2005 02:13 GMT6
I know that in second pregnancies, women tend to "show" at lot earlier
than the first, but do they also tend to grow faster in general?  When
does it taper off?
I am somewhere between 14 and 17 weeks, and I look like I'm at least 5
How to Help Your Baby Avoid A Food Allergy07 Dec 2005 23:29 GMT2
To reduce the risk of your baby developing a food allergy, before
his/her third birthday, wait until he/she is 9 months old before you
feed him/her wheat and 13 months old before feeding him/her eggs or
fish.
rolling over then not07 Dec 2005 23:27 GMT5
Our 5 month old has been rolling over for the last month all the time then
over the last week she has decreased the rolling and hasn't now for a few
days. She is getting better at sitting up when helped up so we think this
may have taken the urge away. Anybody else had a similar ...

approximately what size will I be after delivery?07 Dec 2005 21:43 GMT13
I know this is a question that has a million answers and variables, but I
was wondering what size to pack for my coming home outfit.  I have run the
range of small to large in my maternity clothes.  I was wearing small
maternity clothes until about 5 months, then had to go to ...

When do you stop work?07 Dec 2005 04:55 GMT14
I am now a little past 30 weeks along and have not really made plans on
stopping work.  I've indicated to my manager that it would be around
the due date but couldn't be more specific.  I am able to work remotely
quite a bit, so I figured towards the end I would simply work from ...
sweeping of membranes07 Dec 2005 04:54 GMT5
Can anyone tell me about their experience with having their membranes swept?
I am at 39.5 wks, had my OB appt today.  I'm 3cm and 80% effaced.  My doc
swept my membranes and said I had a 50/50 chance of going into labor in the
next 24 hrs.  What can I expect?

I'm planning to put a box of stuff together for a friend who is due around
Christmas, for her to enjoy before the baby arrives, particularly is she is
in a different country from her family. What would you like to receive if
this was you? All I wanted at this stage was ...

Just going through my birth plan form and I have to select whether I want my
