| Should I have a 3rd child? | 11 Feb 2006 03:45 GMT | 11 |
I am a 33 year old mother of a 5 1/2 year old son and a 2 year old daughter. I'm a stay-at-home mom and love my children dearly. My son is in kindergarten so it's just me and my little girl at home most of the time. Needless to say, I don't have much of a social life. My husband

| Question about being put on bed rest during pregnancy ? | 10 Feb 2006 21:45 GMT | 5 |
My girlfriend has a condition where she has two of everything. (uterus, etc.) The bad part is there's a chance she may have to go on bed rest for the pregnancy but it's unknown yet. My question is if there are any government programs that will allow her

| Questions - cramping and discharge | 10 Feb 2006 16:53 GMT | 7 |
Greetings folks: Here's a question for you. I'm at nearly 34 weeks, and for the past week or two I've been experiencing some light cramping from time to time, much like I'd experience when my period is about to show up. It's

| Tummy question | 09 Feb 2006 19:00 GMT | 21 |
I had my baby via c section at the end of December. She was a large baby and I noticed a few days after (when I could get out of bed) that my tummy was still quite large and floppy. It has improved since but not enough for my liking. Is it likely to keep improving or is a tummy ...

| In labour :) | 09 Feb 2006 15:12 GMT | 3 |
About bl**dy time :) It's 12.37 in the morning and I've been having contractions since 11pm. Shane has filled the pool and the midwife is on redial. Hopefully this is it.

| probably nothing but...(slightly graphic) | 09 Feb 2006 00:11 GMT | 4 |
I just got back from the bathroom and I had a little drop of blood on the toliet paper. Well, more like a brownish reddish tinted mucus. I'm 34 weeks and for some reason I have been paranoid that I would go into labor too early this time around. Do you think I should worry? I

| Good exercises to help w/natural childbirth? | 08 Feb 2006 19:16 GMT | 12 |
The thread about post-baby tummy flab made me remember that I've been meaning to ask about pre-birth exercises. I am looking to again avoid meds and hopefully avoid all interventions (last time I caved on the episiotomy) and I thought some really good prenatal exercise would

| weight gain | 08 Feb 2006 16:49 GMT | 22 |
I've put on around 37 pounds (17 kilos, I believe), and I'm at 31 weeks. I feel enormous and my doctor is telling me to slow down. I'm tall and I've always been active, so I've never had to worry about weight before. With my previous pregnancy I put on around 35 - 40 pounds, ...

| todays breastfeeding experience | 08 Feb 2006 04:19 GMT | 31 |
Oh what a joy it was, I met the midwife at the contact and she councled me at first saying that Joanna could have difficulties latching on at first as it had been a week and 2 days since she had been born and she was feeding with bottles and the action they use with bottle teats ...

Finally got round to writing up the full birth story of Sophie Jade (for anyone's that interested!). She'll be 6 weeks old on Monday and all is going well. Her big sister (who's 2 and a half) has adapated so well and we're so proud of her.

| Best Baby Food? | 07 Feb 2006 21:13 GMT | 1 |
I found this site that has every Gerber baby food on the planet listed, with nutrition facts... i found this one and I was wondering if it would make a baby constipated? Is giving a baby corn this early ok?

| pelvic rocks | 07 Feb 2006 16:14 GMT | 3 |
When doing pelvic rocks on one's hands and knees, is it just a small motion? It feels odd to me if I move my hips more than a few inches, but some descriptions I've found on-line make it sound like my back should be going up in a big hump and then curving far down. (I've got a

| BH contractions | 07 Feb 2006 14:02 GMT | 9 |
I've been having regular, uncomfortable BH contractions today. I've had them before in this pregnancy, but not so many and never with any pain. Reading about them on-line, many seemingly-rational websites say that since I'm not at 37 weeks yet I should call my doctor if I have ...

| Visitors: when to start receiving them? | 06 Feb 2006 23:28 GMT | 173 |
What should be my policy on visitors once I've had the baby, given this is going to be my first child? Some family members would come to stay for a few days, and some would be just friends coming for a quick peek at the baby.
