Fetal movement close to term06 Feb 2006 23:25 GMT24
So, here I am in week 37, pretty darn miserable, and reading the
discussion about induction.  Someone mentioned decreased fetal movement
as being a signal for a doctor's concern.
How much is too little?  He's definitely not moving so much lately, but

miscarriage06 Feb 2006 18:57 GMT6
My wife has been having cramps and bleeding for three days now. The OB has
come to the conclusion that  miscarriage is probable. My aife is just over 6
weeks. When she had the exam the DR. said that the cervix was still closed.
We know that she has an ovarian cyst and some ...
What are valid health reasons for induction?06 Feb 2006 16:31 GMT47
I'm just curious.
I can see the health need if a pg goes *too* long, like more than 42
weeks, or if there's some particular risk to the baby because of the
mom's health status, but it seems induction happens *a lot* these days.
dispute over godparents06 Feb 2006 16:25 GMT29
My wife is 9 months pregnant with our 3rd child. This is a happy time
and unfortunately a stressing time. We always seem to have a dispute
over choosing godparents.  I have a younger brother and sister. My wife
has 1 sister and 3 brothers. Her family is obviously a lot bigger than

Baby Slings06 Feb 2006 07:39 GMT13
I've been poking around online and have seen plenty of patterns to make
sling-style baby carriers (haven't seen many already made in stores).
They look like something that would be great for both parent and baby -
leaves parent's hands free, while baby gets snuggled against mom or
Allergies in pregnancy - can I do anything for them except suffer?06 Feb 2006 07:35 GMT13
I will ask my doc, but figured I'd ask around what others have done.
I've had a cough since ~Dec 29 that won't budge. Mainly in my throat,
no other symptoms. My OB gave me some tessalon to basically anesthetize
my throat at night so I could sleep (getting nore more than 2 hours
Sling and risk for baby boy?06 Feb 2006 07:32 GMT10
I know this is a silly question, and I am certain everyone will tell me "of
course not", but still I wonder.
I have purchased a baby sling (kangouroo style, only a long piece of cloth
that you wrap around you and the baby). I saw my neighbour using that and I

Post lap appointment - great news05 Feb 2006 08:41 GMT5
Wow, I've just had the best possible news. I just came back from the
specialist and he now believes my chances of conception are the same as any
other fit and healthy woman without endo. I've been bawling like a baby I'm
so happy and so overwhelmed. Also DH just got his results ...
Oh Miss Jamie :-)04 Feb 2006 22:20 GMT18
Yesterday I visited your MyFamily site.  GREAT pics, btw!
I saw a name near and dear to my heart... one of my fav authors, Sue
Grafton.  Last night I started reading P is for Peril and saw the name
Jamie Clark in the acknowledgements.  Coincidence, or...?
Baby's eating04 Feb 2006 15:00 GMT3
Holly is feeding really well and gaining nicely. She is now taking 150 ml
per serving usually. My question is, does it ever even out where they start
taking a set amount or will it just keep increasing until she is on solids?
Good Mojo needed...04 Feb 2006 11:28 GMT4
All,
I don't know if you guys remember our weird DMV poltergeist issue.  We moved
from our old house in City A 4 years ago, to our current home in City B.  We
filled out all appropriate change of address forms with the DMV and went
