| stripping membranes - please advise | 19 Mar 2006 21:35 GMT | 7 |
I had my 37-week checkup yesterday. I was complaining to my doctor about how sick I am of being pregnant, all the aches and pains etc. She offered to strip my membranes next week, cautioning that it works only about 20% of the time and she might not be able to anyway (I have a ...

stats from February at our local hospital, 62% spontaneous vaginal delivery for first time mums, unfortunately I don't have the split of c-sections, forceps, ventouse etc for the remaining 38%. I thought this was a pretty good rate, possibly even very good, I know a little about ...

| How did you pick an MD? (For those with doctor/hospital births) | 17 Mar 2006 15:40 GMT | 16 |
How did you pick an MD for your prenatal care and birth? I'm considering switching mine, though I think it would earn me a big red "difficult patient" sticker on my file (I'm already on my second). It's not that I'm indecisive -- it's that the way my hospital is set

Maybe some of you can help me here. I cannot remember what was in a couple of the pics that they gave me the other day. Also, if you can confirm what I believe some of the other pics are (or if I am missing something) that would be nice. :-)
