PMS/Pregnancy jewelry...16 Mar 2006 14:01 GMT5
PMS Jewelry
My husband, being unhappy with my mood swings, bought me a mood ring
the other day so he would be able to monitor my moods. We've discovered
that when I'm in a good mood, it turns green. When I'm in a bad mood it
two stupid questions15 Mar 2006 20:07 GMT1
So last night the little guy seems to have learned how to kick my cervix
(hooray) which kept me up a little late last night and led me to wonder the
following...
1) Should I get worried about him turning the right way (is this what vertex
terrible pelvic pain15 Mar 2006 19:36 GMT15
Anyone else dealing with pelvic pain? My pelvis/groin aches almost
constantly, and I feel stabbing pain at certain moments--usually when
standing up or raising my legs (to put pants on, for example). I can't even
roll over in bed without pain all across my pelvic floor. I walk with ...

area).
We need your help to improve services in this field in this

low amniotic fluid?15 Mar 2006 03:31 GMT7
I am just wondering if anyone can tell me how it is determined if your
amniotic fluid is low.  This is my third pregnancy, and I still don't
know how that is watched.

Uncertain due dates and pre-term labor?14 Mar 2006 19:11 GMT5
Because I have a relatively uncertain due date, how will I know if I'm
"far enough" to have my baby, in the event of early labor?
Based on my LMP (which I'm 90% sure isn't an accurate way to measure),
my due date would be May 11.  Based on my ultrasounds (which were
Enfamil nursette bottles.....14 Mar 2006 19:01 GMT2
Just wondering if anyone knows if one can use standard nipples to
attach to the nursette bottles.  We wanted something for "on the go"
use, but we're worried that the baby might not take to Enfamils nipples
very well.  Would rather just grab our Dr Browns that the baby normally
Vertex!14 Mar 2006 08:19 GMT5
My breech baby is now vertex -- hooray! After having to have a
transverse baby turned last time, I'm relieved to hear this. I'm only at
36 weeks, though, and the kid is _very_ active.
I see some good advice on Kathy's thread a few weeks ago about keeping
glasses14 Mar 2006 02:56 GMT12
Although it didn't happen last time, this pregnancy I'm having eye
problems. Not pain or anything, but my glasses prescription is no longer
quite right (and it was perfect last year). I know this is completely
normal, but it's annoying as hell.
avoiding my period on an upcoming surf trip!14 Mar 2006 01:16 GMT6
I'm on Ortho-Cyclen and I'm going on a surf trip at the end of June for
12 days. I will be living on a boat and I really don't want to deal
with my period during this time. According to my 28 day cycle, I will
be getting my period right in the middle of my trip. (go figure!)
Gestational Diabetes in Second Pregnancy13 Mar 2006 22:55 GMT9
It's been 2 years plus since I've been around. My Little Guy has taken
up much of my computer time :) but I vividly recall what an invaluable
resource this group and the misc. breastfeeding were to me during my
initial journey through motherhood.

What to do for a pinched nerve?13 Mar 2006 21:09 GMT3
It'd be easier if it was just back pain, but this is nuts. I get into a
position, then if I move - OUCH - sharp stabbing pain in my lower back.
Same spot I had a back injury 9 yrs ago.  I've tried stretches, tiger
balm.... what else is there?  Rest of my back aches, but that's just
Beyond late teether!  Help??13 Mar 2006 17:46 GMT3
I am a mom to two gorgeous girls, one 3.5 and the other 1.5, with a
third and final on the way.
I am worried about the 1.5 year old.  She has some teeth, but talk
about weird teething!  Her first teeth came in at 15 months-- molars,
