Hello.22 Apr 2006 04:06 GMT6
I've been lurking here for a few years.  I'm finally pregnant after ttc
for six years.  (We did have one early miscarriage two years ago.)  I
finally confirmed my pregnancy yesterday (with the doctor), but have 11
positive hpts on my bathroom counter (thanks to the dollar store).  ...
So maybe they are...21 Apr 2006 23:09 GMT1
Contractions, that is.  After looking it up for a while today, I think
I am having at least some contractions.  I don't think they're the real
thing yet though.  I'd say I have at least 3 different things that
COULD be contractions and 1 of those is pretty definite...
End-of-pregnancy preparation for labor21 Apr 2006 22:31 GMT17
Okay, so I am coming down the homestretch, though I've still got ample
time to prep for an easier (and perhaps sooner?) labor.

37+ week Appointment21 Apr 2006 17:13 GMT6
Well, yesterday was my 37-1/2 week appointment with the midwife.  Since
everything is getting close, we agreed to an exam, mostly for her to
check and make sure that she's not going to encounter anything strange
when I'm in labor.  Surprise, surprise, I'm 3cm dialated and 90%

I know any questions I have will be answered at the appointment, but I'm
still wondering and have a couple questions...
reassurance, please (a tad gross)21 Apr 2006 12:42 GMT4
So my doctor already told me she's not worried about this, but I'd like
some peer-to-peer reassurance, please. My baby is 12 days old. The
lochia had been tapering off already, but this afternoon it suddenly
started gushing. I had a blood clot the size of my hand. My doctor says
Cramping in early pregnancy21 Apr 2006 08:33 GMT3
I am about 8 weeks pregnant. The last couple of days, I have been cramping
in my lower abdomen and pain in my back. I feel as though something is
sbout to fall out of me. I have been having a clear slimy discharge, not

Another due date question.21 Apr 2006 03:54 GMT4
I bought The Pregnancy Journal and the dating in it confuses me.
Fertilityfriend, babycenter, and babyzone all have the same dates.  I'm
at 5weeks5days today.  The Pregnancy Journal has me in week four, which
I understand is the fetus age (going by fertilityfriend's pregnancy
