What's the recommended water consumption for pregnant women these days?05 Apr 2006 03:31 GMT8
I just figured out I drink at least 3.5L, or nearly 1 gallon (3.76L I
think), every day.
I crave it, so I drink it and obviously need that, but wonder how
normal that is? I rarely drink much else though - occassionally (1x/wk)
Now I'm nervous...04 Apr 2006 13:23 GMT30
So yesterday we had our first of two childbirth education classes.  Not
too much that I hadn't already read, but boy did I get thrown for a
loop.  The instructor had us do an exercise to "practice having a
contraction".  Put your hand in a bowl of ice water for 1 minute, then
Breech @ 33 Weeks03 Apr 2006 23:12 GMT9
I just came from my regular doctors appointment and was told that my baby is
in a breech position. This is my second pregnancy and my first was head down
by this point. I'm starting to get a little worried that the baby may not
turn head down and I'll end up having to get a ...
Wife's "Flutters" Ceasing While Sick03 Apr 2006 21:23 GMT11
My wife is pregnant, estimated at around 9 weeks. She had been feeling
"flutters" but the last day or so has been coughing and sick. Since then the
flutters have stopped. She fears this means she is miscarrying and even has
the notion that the coughing is the cause.
thoughts? could my problems be nerve damage, or epidural damage?03 Apr 2006 18:51 GMT1
Ok, my postnatal physical issues are fairly complex, but one thing I've not
thought they could be are nerve problems, it all just feels sore and achy,
not shooting at all.
Anyway, DH was on the phone to his mum last night, and she said she though
Belly measurement03 Apr 2006 15:14 GMT8
Wow!  I keep forgetting to ask what mine is but finally remembered
yesterday.   Does everyone have their uterus/belly measured in the last half
of pregnancy?  I always have.   The measurement should be similar to the
number of weeks pregnant you are.  I'm 36 weeks (so would ...
I must look even bigger than I feel. And I feel HUGE!03 Apr 2006 14:56 GMT13
About 5 minutes ago marked the *3rd* comment in 2 days about how I must
be 'counting
down the days' and 'getting close.' I have *15* more weeks to go (more
or less) before
Complete Placenta Previa03 Apr 2006 08:19 GMT14
Just diagnosed with a complete placenta previa in my 3rd pregnancy at
my 20/21 week ultrasound.  I haven't (to the ustech's amazement) had
any bleeding.  I am already prone to preterm labor (and in the higher
risk category) and my doctor looked confused when I mentioned the
Support belts - do they really help?01 Apr 2006 17:26 GMT6

I DID IT!!!01 Apr 2006 10:56 GMT16
I wanted to tell everyone that I had my beautiful baby girl on March
5th at 2:45 in the afternoon.  It was an amazing experience because I
went into labor on my own without needing another bloody induction,
thank God.  I got to labor in a nice deep tub of warm water and I
I just found out I am pregnant and my bf is really upset01 Apr 2006 06:24 GMT55
He didn't want to have more kids. We tried to be careful. I was on the
patch. We just found out yesterday that I am pregnant and he is very
upset. Not with me. He keeps telling me he loves me, but he is very
depressed.
getting big sister ready01 Apr 2006 03:08 GMT10
DD is 19 months now, and DS is due in July.   I want to start preparing
her if possible- we've bought a few books and a DVD, and we talk about
babies stuff like....  telling her how lucky her baby brother will be
to have a nice sister like her.  (She was very cute the first time I
