Stuck In Hospital31 May 2006 19:33 GMT13
Hi All!  Well, as of my last question/post, I've had another slight
emergency and am now back in the Hospital.
Baby Isabelle is 32w today.  We've gotten 2 steriod shots since
Wednesday's large bleed, and am on an IV & monitors.  No emergency
Mom's here!31 May 2006 18:12 GMT5
I called my mother last night and asked her to come over.
By the end of the afternoon, I realised a couple of things...
A- I'm contracting, painfully so, although there is no regularity just yet.
B- My hip, pelvic and all the bones in those areas ache like hell - no

For those of you pregnant with your second (or later) baby or that
already have 2 or more kids...
If you did not have family available to watch your first born if/when
you went into labor, who did you use?  DH and I are having a bit of a
38wk update31 May 2006 12:20 GMT2
I saw the consultant today. I didn't stay long or really ask all the
questions I wanted to though, as he was the one DH and I first saw when we
transferred us here, and he upset us, and so I was a bit wary of him. Silly,
I know, but...
Tender and seemingly large?31 May 2006 01:18 GMT3
I don't know if I'm going crazy, but DH assures me I'm not...
Lately, though, my breasts feel very tender and almost like they're ready to
explode.  Last night, they almost felt like they were so solid that I had
tennis balls or something in my shirt.  My bras are all getting ...
Babywearing Conference....30 May 2006 22:46 GMT2
I'm coordinating a conference in Portland, OR, August 3-6, 2006
entirely devoted to babywearing and slings. We've got 4 days worth of
classes ranging from sewing workshops to how-to for newbies and
business seminars for manufacturers. It's a great opportunity to learn
When to give water? 30 May 2006 21:18 GMT4
It has been very hot and humid here for the past few days and I was
wondering what the consensus was on giving a baby a little water to keep
them cool.
Holly is five months and a breastmilk via bottle fed baby and takes a little
Pilates during pregnancy30 May 2006 18:14 GMT6
My spinal prolapse has acted up again and the physio recommended doing some
Pilates-type exercises, but specifically designed for pregnant women. She
said that unfortunately I didn't get my core strength back before becoming
pregnant again (DS was 6 months old) and my back will ...
Brigid??30 May 2006 14:30 GMT7
I might be out of the loop, but haven't heard from Brigid for quite some time, I don't think...
On a side note, if you are still about and around, computer crashed and I lost your email before I had a chance to reply...
Anything?  :D
This is where I get tired with the whole pregnancy thing30 May 2006 10:23 GMT11
Depending on my "official" estimated due date, I'm either 10 days away or 3
days away. Either way, I'm at the point where I only want to end this thing,
and hold my baby boy in my arms.
I started having contractions - some slight, some very painful - very much

Lullabies30 May 2006 04:29 GMT2
We're having a baby soon and we got a book on Lullabies. I recognize
about half the songs and my wife recognizes none of them.
Anyhow, there is a song which I don't know the title to that came with
"actions". (it might be for toddlers more). The lyrics go:
Anyone had episiotomy problems?29 May 2006 06:46 GMT7
I gave birth March 2004 and still am having problems. I went to several
doctors in the Mayo System (where I gave birth unfortunately) and was
treated by being laughed at, ignored, silence, and then covered up.
I had a mid wife, Mary Murry, who was too busy and at the end of her
Nappy rash29 May 2006 01:54 GMT20
Well I want to rant somewhere and because you guys know the situation then I
suppose the best place has got to be here. I am annoyed because while Joanna
is in my care I try my hardest to prevent nappy rash, I give her nappy free
time, change her at the slightest suspision that ...
