Stressful day22 Jun 2006 21:21 GMT3
The day started off pretty normal, but in the afternoon we (4YO DS & I)
decided to get a snack, so we head off upstairs.  He's excited, as
usual, he likes to help with snacks.  He jumps up on the step stool that
we have by our counter.  I had bought a nice large step stool with
Guillaume's Birth Story (long)22 Jun 2006 17:32 GMT10
This birth story will talk a lot about pain. It will use words like
excruciating, like despair, like unbearable, like crazy, and so on. I might
miss out on the words wonderful, empowerment, wondrous, beautiful, unique,
and so on. But keep them in mind as you read this. For each ...
Born at 32 weeks & doing great!22 Jun 2006 17:32 GMT6
Hi dear moms out there,
Just wanted to let you all know that through the hyperemesis,
subchorionic bleeding, complete placenta previa, 5cm+ cyst in right
ovary, bleeds with hospital stays, and final admittance to hospital to
What brand of cloth diapers?22 Jun 2006 13:31 GMT7
The only ones I've seen have been Gerber, and they just seem lousy -
very thin fabric, doesn't look like it absorbs much. I have this vision
from cloth diapers my mom used some, um 30+ years ago (and then used as
rags for another 10+ yrs), they just seemed to be much better.

Ericka,
This is completely OT, but I know you will know the answer to it. :-)
A friend of mine is getting married in November (2nd wedding).  She's
Can you bleach a belly button?22 Jun 2006 05:32 GMT9
The wife wants me to find out if there is anything I can put on her
belly button, while its still sticking out, to fade the darkness of it,
before it pops back in again (we had our second baby last week :))
She doesn't have any stretch marks or dark lines, but she is concerned
Be careful what you name your kids21 Jun 2006 23:42 GMT16
I have just had this pointed out to me this morning, don't know if you
would have heard it, but it proves you have to be SO careful naming your
children!
Shiloh Pitt... if you swap the "sh" and the "p" around, what do you get?
Ultrasound today :(21 Jun 2006 19:54 GMT20
Not looking forward to the water drinking and avoiding the washroom, then
driving and dealing with kids for this... Buuut... I'm kind of getting a bit
excited. :D
I swore that this time I would not find out what it is, mainly because we've
Sorta OT. Something Funny I just read21 Jun 2006 18:28 GMT3
Not completely OT, but funny

Guillaume is here at last!21 Jun 2006 17:18 GMT14
Hi, birth story to follow, but only to let you know that I gave birth to a
nice 9.5 lb baby boy on Tuesday June 13 at 23:50...
Today is migraine day, but I wanted to let you all know Mommy, Daddy, Mlle C

Update - (Loss Mentioned)21 Jun 2006 14:38 GMT10
Just thought I would update you on my situation.  After I did one test and
got a very faint positive, I did 4 more just to make sure!! They all came
back very faintly positive too.  Last night I started bleeding very lightly,
when I woke up this morning I was bleeding more ...
Update.  (Long, m/c ment.)21 Jun 2006 14:38 GMT19
It's been quite a roller coaster so far.  Almost immediately after I
posted my "new to the group" message I started spotting/bleeding.  I
went for an ultrasound and all they could see was that my lining was
quite thick.  I was at six weeks then.  I guess the bleeding started at
Rib cage size after pregnancy?21 Jun 2006 02:29 GMT6
Anyone know what happens to the rib cage after pregnancy?
Judging by the way I no longer fit into my old clothes, mine seems to
have expanded, and the tip of the sternum sticks out a little when I'm
lying down, which it didn't use to do before.
Lump on my junk?20 Jun 2006 22:48 GMT7
First off, I do apologize if this is TMI... I just have a concern about a
lump thing on the inside of my crotch...
I remember while pg with DD, I found this small little lump on my crotch...
It was located on my right side, about a finger width away from my leg
Vacation at 33 weeks???20 Jun 2006 21:58 GMT13
Any experience or opinions on this?  I'm considering taking a week's
vacation when I'm 33 weeks pregnant.  We were thinking of going to a
stay at the family cottage on the beach.  It's a 6 hour drive.  It's
still in the same province so there are no health insurance issues.
