Isabelle is Here!12 Jun 2006 00:17 GMT10
I last posted a message about my concern of a clot passed while on
bedrest in the hospital with complete placenta previa.  A few hours
after my post, I awoke to extreme hemmorhaging (nurses said over a unit
in a minute- it was insane!).  They immediately rushed us into the
My little one has arrived!11 Jun 2006 21:23 GMT23
Hale is here!
The vital statistics:  Hale was born at 2:57 p.m. on 6/2/06, and was 9
pounds 3 ounces, and 21 1/2 inches long.
For a number of reasons, we opted for an induction on Friday, June 2.

Hey all.  If you have any advice or experience, I'd appreciate it if
you shared.
Last Saturday, when Hale was a day old, the ped noticed he made a funny
sound when breathing in while he was crying.  I can't remember the word

good news.....maybe!!09 Jun 2006 23:08 GMT6
I did a home pregnancy test a few days ago and 2 lines showed up. 1 line was
really dark and the other was a lot more faint, almost hardly visible (but
definitely there!) Does this mean that I am pregnant?
Thanks

I'm thinking of you and hope all is going well.  Haven't seen a post from
you since you posted about the clot.  If little Isabelle had to make her
arrival, I hope all is well with both you and her!!
Normal heart rate?09 Jun 2006 01:28 GMT6
Normally, my heart, I think, is beating at about 80ish bpm...
Lately, though, actually a few times today, it seems to have gone just wild
and about an hour and a half ago, I counted and it was 118bpm... Just now,
it was at 126bpm.
Pregnancy guilt (miscarriage mentioned)08 Jun 2006 02:46 GMT6
I was going to post this in one of the pregnancy loss newgroups but seems
all of them have a readership of zero. At least on my news server they do. I
know that people here have been through similar predicaments. I hope this is
alright... So here it is:

has been head down for ages.
Passed 5cm CLOT!  Ahhh!07 Jun 2006 07:10 GMT5
Since my last post on May 27, "Stuck in Hospital"...
We were doing so good today, hadn't bled for a day, been in hospital
this time for a week, when tonight at 11:30pm I started to gush blood
again... followed by contractions... followed by passing a 5 cm x 3 cm
Nuchal translucency (NT) scan07 Jun 2006 01:11 GMT13
Hello, Group:
Yesterday, on Friday my Wife had NT scan performed.  The results were
very concerning.  The doctor called us with the new that our baby might
have Down Syndrome, since the Neck fold measured at 5.9 mm.
"Ticking biological clock no longer just for women"06 Jun 2006 22:18 GMT1
Ticking biological clock no longer just for women
Gentleman, the biological clock may toll for thee, as well. New
findings released yesterday by separate American and French research
teams indicate that a man's age can compromise his fertility -- a
Should I call the midwife?06 Jun 2006 19:24 GMT16
This might sound silly, but I am not sure if my waters are leaking... I
have tried to Google, but it's not helping...
I haven't had a big gush or anything. I've had period-pain type of
cramps for a couple of hours that haven't improved when I went for a
