Intermittent heavy bleeding12 Jul 2006 10:39 GMT3
I am about 13 weeks with my first pregnancy. A little over a week ago,
I woke after feeling a 'pop' and found blood all over the bed. I
continued to bleed heavily and pass large clots for several hours. I
went to the ER where ultrasound and HCG testing confirmed that the

Just wanted to say sorry I've ignored so many posts - Rob (dh) was made
redundant when Jessie was 6 days old (not unfair dismissal btw - 50% of
the company's gone :/ ), so things have been a bit hectic.
OTOH, Life with Jessica could't be better. I still can't believe she's

Ohh, by the way, I had a Personal Labor Coach (PLC) & when I say "We"
I'm pretty much referring to her & I.  DH only really physically helped
Finding Nap Time11 Jul 2006 20:43 GMT5
Well, here we are, a few days on from my stupid three-hour glucose
test, and I think I can conclusively say that my fatigue is a result of
just being tired and pregnant! And not from the, you know, blood loss.
Still, I'm a busy girl; I've got a job to do, and a 4-year-old to take

What to Expect ...11 Jul 2006 18:34 GMT11
Quoting from the Abbreviations thread:
"WTEWYE - What to Expect When You're Expecting (another book, NOT so
poplar here)"
Just wondering, why is it unpopular here? What are the best books in
hypnosis11 Jul 2006 02:28 GMT15
Has anyone used hypnosis as a method of pain reduction during labor and
delivery?  How did it work for you and how did you learn about it?
Also, what other pain management techinques are there that don't involve
drugs? I know about lamaze and bradley, but is there anything else I ...
Jessica's Birth story and update - long10 Jul 2006 23:02 GMT9
Thank you for the congratulations messages :) I'm sorry it's taken a
while to post - Rob and I came down with food poisoning on Tuesday, so
as you can imagine, it was a little hectic for 24 hours or so. We're so
much better now, and thankfully Jessica missed it all, and I was ...
Introducing...Me!10 Jul 2006 21:23 GMT1
Hi Everyone.  I just joined the group recently and figured that I might
as well introduce myself so I can start feeling included.
My name is B and I am a 32 y/o married SAHM to my 21 month old daughter

Are You A Pregnant Teen?10 Jul 2006 01:13 GMT3
A new, nationally syndicated talk show is looking for teens who
recently found out you are pregnant!  Are you having a hard time
telling your parents that you're pregnant, does your boyfriend not want
you to have the baby, or are your parents ashamed?  If this is you or
Diagnosed w/ gestational diabetes09 Jul 2006 19:57 GMT10
I just got the phone call this morning that my 3 hour glucose test came back
abnormal and that I have gestational diabetes.  I don't have the appt. set
up yet w/ the dietician, but am wondering what I need to avoid in the
meantime until I get to see them.  I've read on various ...

One day od horrible dizziness08 Jul 2006 17:03 GMT4
I used to post here but have been posting in infertility since we have
been dealing with that.
I am in a month break and had the weirdest thing happen last week.  The
day or two after my ovulation (we are still trying and hoping) I went
HCG Slowly Rising08 Jul 2006 00:10 GMT5
My hcg levels are slowly rising and it has me worried.  I am currently 6

The first hcg blood test was on 6-28 (5 weeks 4 days pregnant) and the
level was 3120.  The second draw was 6-30 (5 weeks 6 days pregnant) and it
