Hi - is it possible to test sperm, from a sample given, for percentage
of x or y chromosomes? Semen analysis check for sperm count and quality
etc, but can a check for the number of X as opposed to Y chromosomes be
done? We have 3 girls and want to know if we have any likelihood of
Head down at 30 weeks.21 Aug 2006 20:57 GMT6
I was just wondering, I had my 30 week check up this week and my OB said

Effect of emotional stress in first trimester?21 Aug 2006 14:57 GMT16
I was wondering if anyone can tell me what the effect of emotional
stress could be in the first trimester (10 weeks pregnant now).  I am
currently going through a very rough time indeed with my mother and
wish that at least it wouldn't affect the baby, if it is affecting me.

Well, had an appointment (finally) earlier this afternoon...
I guess everything is going fine, AFAIK.
As I thought, and my friend mentioned, I am measuring small - I'm measuring
for 28 weeks, but when I asked about it, my doc said that it was fine.

My wife and I had a wonderful life.  We dated for  7 years, and now have
been married for 5.  Best friends, could talk about anything, and a
decent sex life (I always joke it could be better, but shes Catholic...
no disrespect meant..  <smile>).
How early can a doctor confirm a pregnancy?19 Aug 2006 06:40 GMT22
This would be my #2, and last time I had the exact same symptoms at 10 days
after conception--we figured this out when I kept insisting I was pregnant
and having nausea but tests were neg until I got to about a month along.
Long story short, the timing could be such that I could ...
windy baby19 Aug 2006 04:26 GMT6
Sorry if TMI, but I'm just wondering if my DD is normal :)
When she, well to be polite, passes wind ( ;) ) she's sooo loud! Not just in
a normal way,  but really loud and horrible! We go to Church on Sundays, and
I dread the sermon as it's so quiet then, and if she chooses that ...

My name is masam. Right now I am pregnant from 1 month and my past

Sleep - swaddling, side sleeping17 Aug 2006 20:36 GMT21
DD is 6 weeks now, and though she does sleep at night in 3 hr
stretches, her sleep is very agitated, much more so than in the
daytime. She twitches and kicks. I've tried swaddling her, but she's
*hates* it with a passion. She shrieks blood curdling screams until she
