Hi everyone I have a few questions about pregnancy testing and i was hoping someone could shed some light for me. Will a blood test detect pregnancy at 10DPO? I had a faint line using First responce (the sensitive one), has anyone had

| Back to sleep | 18 Sep 2006 19:47 GMT | 7 |
I know babies are supposed to sleep on their backs (I even have a couple "back to sleep" onsies), but DS refuses so far. I know it's only been a few days, but each time we try, he starts crying. He can be sound asleep in your arms or on your chest, and as soon as you lay him on ...

| Weight gain in second pregnancy, shortly after first | 17 Sep 2006 17:54 GMT | 9 |
At the start of my first pregnancy I weighed 118 pounds. I put on 35 pounds during that pregnancy, and was slowly starting to lose the excess weight after I had the baby. At month four post-partum I was at 126 pounds, when I became pregnant again.

| Gut sounds in utero!? | 17 Sep 2006 15:43 GMT | 1 |
Does anyone else have experience of this? Last night we heard very clearly what sounded like gut sounds coming from the baby in utero. Some squeaking and groaning, and a lot of bubbling. Unlike when gut sounds come from *my* gut, I felt nothing.

| 38 weeks! position, pelvic rocking, sacrococcygeal teratoma | 16 Sep 2006 00:58 GMT | 4 |
Okay, I'll take the hint and make this a new thread. Anne, I make a distinction between the positions of the baby's body and the baby's head. Let's say I look down. My belly button is at 12 o'clock, my spine at 6 o'clock. For the past 2 months at least, the

| Should I tell others? | 15 Sep 2006 22:39 GMT | 4 |
Other than my mom, aunt and grandma (and probably by now more of my family) I didn't really say much about my last doc appointment to anyone. I am still thinking that all should turn out fine and dandy after this u/s in 2 weeks, but with all that's been going on, is this something ...

| The low/weird hCG levels.. | 15 Sep 2006 17:52 GMT | 4 |
I had the low hCG of 2, it just turned out more than likely to be a lab error, as I am not surprisingly not pregnant. I had sore, swollen boobs, and some vomiting and my period was 2 weeks late so I don't know what the heck happened....I was starting to be SURE I was pregnant, ...

| Concerned about size! | 14 Sep 2006 20:36 GMT | 17 |
I just had an appointment this morning, and oh yay for me... *sarcasm* I am 34w1d today, and I now have an u/s booked at the hospital for 10am on the 27th of September, as well as a NST to follow directly after and then a visit with my OB right after that.

| Question about car seats... | 14 Sep 2006 15:44 GMT | 16 |
I know it's still a bit early but the silly iVillage pregnancy calendar thing suggested looking into car seats soon... I've been putting the whole car seat issues off for so long - realize now that was a horrible idea...

| Ok I'm getting so excited | 14 Sep 2006 00:35 GMT | 8 |
I have made it to 34 weeks. I spent all day yesterday contracting. starting at 5 am and we're still going. they are not becoming regular. the midwife said this could go for a week or maybe 2. I know it's best to get your little ones to 37 weeks, but I can't wait to meet this
