OK, about 12 days ago I slightly spotted once, and cramped all day.  It
happened again on the 1st. Noting has happened though.  I can only
assume my body wants to start AF, but does anyone know why it's not?
I realize this will be my first AF since having DS, but how weird is ...
Sharp pain09 Sep 2006 04:25 GMT5
Looking for advice -
I am having some slightly sharp pain in my lower right side.  I am  at 20
weeks.  I had a previous c-section.  It feels like it's right above and to
the right of incision.  Not anything excrutiating but like a sharp jab.

I'm reading the discussion on shoulder dystocia (subject: From
Cochrane) and I'm very concerned about my chances of having a second
homebirth.
With the first one we had mild shoulder dystocia which caused the

I should have posted this earlier -- I've got my first real prenatal
tomorrow morning (last week's ER episode doesn't count), and would love
any suggestions about what to ask my new OB concerning a VBAC.  We've
moved to an HMO, so I can't get the OB I had for my first section,
Bleeding in First Trimester...anyone experience?07 Sep 2006 03:05 GMT11
I am 7 weeks pregnant and woke up to a gush of blood and now slight
spotting this morning.  My husband and I had sex last time for the
first time since I have been pregnant and I am wondering if that may
have been the cause or if I should be worried about this being a sign
clammering06 Sep 2006 22:52 GMT2
My 8 month old has recently started something new. I am usually on the
floor with her so I can hold her by the waist as she 'walks'. For the
past few days, whenever anyone else comes by or she is startled, she
whips around and grabs on to me, can't seem to get close enough etc.
Cloth diapering-snappis06 Sep 2006 14:36 GMT2
Has anyone in here have experience with Snappis or a similar product.
I'm ok with pins but my husband is not so ok with pins.  I just wanted
to know if they work well, compared to pins they are a bit salty in
price.  But if they work well then they are worth their weight.
Pica (non food cravings)06 Sep 2006 12:19 GMT14
Anyone else have this.  I look at dirt and rocks lately and think they
look appetizing.  Wow I sound like a real freak.  I'm sure it's my body
telling me that I'm lacking something.  but what?  Anyone else.  Thanks
for not instantly thinking I'm a fruit loop
pitocin to induce placenta delivery?06 Sep 2006 10:12 GMT33
How commonly is this given in the US?
SIL in Switzerland was telling an MD friend about us (homebirth) and
the woman went on about how there, a drug is given after birth to
prevent hemorrhage, but that midwives don't do it and therefore there's
Awkward (and hard) question... STD testing...06 Sep 2006 01:11 GMT5
I called my OB's office earlier today to reschedule an appointment I had for
Sept. 12 in the AM - my mom had booked DS in for the dentist that same
morning, and it's just easier to reschedule my appointment than the
dentist...

When will It stop?05 Sep 2006 23:42 GMT4
I have suffered from PND since the birth of my first son. He is now two
and I still have not got a grip on why I want to die on a daily basis.
I just want the ground to open up and swallow me. Why do I still feel
like a the worse mum in the world and that my beautiful, enchanting ...
post partum rash ..??05 Sep 2006 16:25 GMT3
My wife just had a c-section a week ago.  We had a 8lb 10oz lil boy.
She had her 7 day checkup at the OB yesterday, the only one issue she
had was irritation around her incision.  The Dr prescribed a cream.
Since yesterday it has spread to her thighs and chest.
