My 6wk ol baby boy Everett dob 10/30/06. Is not sleeping much, it seems to
me that way anyways, compared to my older children when they were that
age. How much sleep should he be getting right now? I'm hoping he will be

Meals suggestions for new moms??17 Dec 2006 19:19 GMT6
I'm bringing dinner for a family with a new baby next Tuesday; does
anyone have any suggestions?  I don't want to do Italian, since I think
that's what most people bring... probably because it's easily
transportable and re-heatable.  ;)  Any other meals fit those criteria?
Nearly 28 weeks, cervix at 20 mm: should I be worried?17 Dec 2006 05:39 GMT7
I had a detailed ultrasound done today and the radiologist reported my
cervix was a bit shortened. She called my OB to let her know, and said
I might be put on bed rest, but the OB would discuss any course of
action with me.  I had the OB appointment immediately following, and
What a strange bump!16 Dec 2006 01:11 GMT1
I'm about 14 weeks now and trying to convince myself that the morning
sickness might go (preferably by Christmas). I'm much better than I ever was
with #2, which I suspect means it's a boy. But I was convinced #2 was a boy
so I'm perhaps not the best judge of that.

So I'm lieing on the physicians table, prepped for an injection into my
symphysis pubis, they have to numb the skin and other tissue above the joint

think I've ever been stung by a bee though, first ...
Going back to Work14 Dec 2006 22:16 GMT3
Hi everyone. I have been off on maternity leave for a year ( I am in Canada)
and go back tomorrow. My baby was in NICU for two weeks and the longest I've
ever been away from her was the other day when I went to get my  hair cut
(two hours or so). I am dreading tomorrow and sure I ...
Dating scan14 Dec 2006 21:12 GMT9
I now have a edd: 14th June. And #3 has all limbs :-)
When I had the 12 week scan with #2 she didn't stop moving at any stage, all
her limbs going full time. With this one s/he moved one hand slightly. The
u/s person said that baby was probably just having a peaceful moment.

Cephalohematoma, is this something to worry about?10 Dec 2006 05:58 GMT5
I asked several nurses in the hospital and also our brand new
pediatrician about a soft squishy area on my newbord daughter's head.
They all assured me that it is a Cephalohematoma and nothing to worry
about.  I asked again at the 5 day checkup at the pediatrican's office
4th pregnancy!09 Dec 2006 06:35 GMT6
I just found out today that I'm pregnant...again!  I have 3 beautiful
girls, 9, 3, and almost 3.  I'm having all kinds of mixed emotions.  I
thought I was through and 1-2 years out of the terrible toddler stage.
We were planning to move to NC where I was on the long awaited road to
Rent or Buy Fetal Heart Monitor?09 Dec 2006 01:40 GMT14
I'd like to pick up a fetal heart monitor simply for the joy of hearing
our unborn child in the womb.  I've found several ultrasound units on
the web that you can rent for around $25 a month, and I found one
ultrasound unit I could buy for $115:
