I have bought 4 different types of nipples for my son: Playtex Slow, Playtex Variable, EvenFlo and Gerber. All four of them seem to be too slow for my 5-day old. I'm afraid that he expends so much energy sucking that he falls back asleep before he's had a full meal.

How do you measure the length of a contraction? When people refer to "3 minutes apart lasting 30 seconds" does that mean 3 minutes from the start of one to the start of another or 3 minutes from the end of a contraction to the beginning of another?

I am 33 weeks, and due in mid-May. Since last week, i get stitch-like pain in the lower side (right or left) and even sometimes i feel as if i will get my periods i.e. menstrual pain. BTW i had severe menstrual pain before pregnancy.
