Gas and air?16 May 2007 22:21 GMT21
Just a little opinion poll really...
When I had Jessie, I only had gas and air, but apart from the very last bit
of delivery, I wasn't really in that much pain. I wanted the gas and air
purely to help me to remember to breathe - my problem being that I kept
Delivery is near, what to bring to the hospital16 May 2007 22:19 GMT5
Yes, the time is coming up fast! Would like to know what to bring to
the hospital. We have list we got from our baby classes but would also
like other ideas, also what husband should bring.
A career is better than having a baby!!!16 May 2007 21:07 GMT1
What have you done? Now you have a kid instead of
a wonderful career. A kid who will hate you once
he/she is a teen instead of a lot of $$$!
Why did you not choose the career and the $$$ MONEY $$$?

an expected SD13 May 2007 23:50 GMT25

I'd never come across a story before where someone was fully expecting a
case of SD, I'm not sure I'd advocate what this women did, though I am with
her that home was better than hospital for a vaginal birth!

groups for indepth discussion12 May 2007 23:11 GMT4
I'm looking for email groups or forums where there is more indepth
discussion about maternity issues in general, I'm aware of some for the UK,
but I really want to try and get a picture of things in the US. Birth is the
same, but the system isn't, I get the basics of how things ...
Is there any relation...12 May 2007 11:19 GMT10
For those who have more than one...
Out of nowhere, I just got thinking.
It seems the birth days and EDD for all my kids are somewhat related.  Just
wondering if anyone else has something along these lines going on that they
Looking for opinions on a sensitive subject12 May 2007 10:51 GMT12
I'll start off by saying I am absolutely not looking for a
pro-choice/pro-life debate. I just want to get as many opinions as
possible on what others would do in my shoes. I know the decision is
ultimately mine and my husband's.
ectopic pregnancy and PT11 May 2007 22:37 GMT10

Membranes Stripped !11 May 2007 07:47 GMT14
My wife is 38 weeks and has gestational diabetes but its under control
with the drug she takes (no insulin shots). The baby is averaging
fine! :-D Right around 6.5 - 7 pounds based on measurements.
Because of the diabetes they won't let her go past her due date, which
Lamaze breathing techniques11 May 2007 01:37 GMT3
My wife and I are expecting our first son shortly (within weeks).
We'd taken a parenting class which had a Lamaze class rolled into it,
and it was horrible.  Even though the class was 8 hours long, the
breathing techniques that the woman taught lasted for all of 30
Naming advice10 May 2007 07:18 GMT17
Our baby is due this Tuesday (1st). We've always hoped for a girl first
and have decided on a name years ago. Both the 20 week and 32 weeks
ultrasound looked like a girl, so we got complacent about finding a
boy's name. But of course those scans can deceive, and now I'm really
