| Colic / gas build up | 31 Jul 2007 19:46 GMT | 17 |
My 7 week old has been constantly crying since 5am. Doc says it's just gas but nothing is working to relieve it. Both DH and I are exhausted and pulling our hair out trying to soothe him. Any help / advice appreciated ladies.

As you may have seen in my previous post, I had a miscarriage recently (5 weeks ago tomorrow) and this morning, after 16 high temperatures (13 is normally my longest run of high temps when not pregnant) got a +ve HPT. I did 2 tests as I cannot believe I really might be pregnant

| Crying associations? | 23 Jul 2007 21:02 GMT | 1 |
Well, our infant is now almost 7 weeks old. I think during that time, we've learned to recognize the difference in crying. However there are times when he just will not stop crying no matter what we do. Such as this morning, he was very fussy and there wasn't anything I could do

| How much sleep do infants need? | 23 Jul 2007 16:30 GMT | 4 |
Our two month old is sleeping roughly between 9 and 12 hours a day. Usually we put him down around 9pm, if he doesn't go to sleep we will soothe him to sleep via the washing machine (works great!). Lately he's been sleeping pretty good at night (knocking on wood here). He

| That thing called clubfoot | 20 Jul 2007 21:39 GMT | 13 |
I just found this group and noticed there were mentions of clubfoot and Dr. Ponseti, and/or the Ponseti Method of clubfoot correction. I have three sons, all born with bilateral clubfeet, six feet in all :) I've gone both the non-Ponseti and the Ponseti routes of

I am so chuffed! Thanks Anne for your advice recently. It seems my hospital has changed it's policy and I can now have my antibiotics given at home, rathr than in hospital. They can also do it intra-muscular rather than in a vein, which is great cos it took them forever to get it ...

| Question about GD | 15 Jul 2007 11:33 GMT | 4 |
I had my one hour test last week because one of my pee tests had glucose in it. It went well and I'm within the normal range. However. I took the test because my midwife told me: If I have GD the babies glucose levels will "match" mine as long as she's inside and

Yikes- my right hip is starting to go numb when I walk! It starts with an icey, prickly feeling that goes from my hip to above my knee, on the right side, only. It happened for the first time today after I had ridden in a car for 45 minutes and then walked around for a couple of ...

| gap between children | 12 Jul 2007 20:20 GMT | 10 |
it comes up quite often and various people have said the evidence is the optimal gap between birth and conception is 18-30 months, but I don't think I ever looked up where this came from, so could someone provide a link to studies, or whatever it was based on?
