| 12 weeks now | 13 Sep 2007 23:48 GMT | 2 |
This is my second pregnancy and it's so different! With my last one, I was really sick the whole time and basically couldn't get off the couch. With this one, I've kind of felt sick on and off but it hasn't been too bad, and I've suddenley hit 12 weeks (so hopefully it's here ...

| A TMI question | 13 Sep 2007 21:22 GMT | 4 |
Hi all, sorry in advance if I give TMI! AF arrived on Sunday (a week+ early). I had no pain, which whilst isn't unusual, probably isn't a big deal as I'm on pain killers for sciatica. The thing that's getting me that was on day 1, it was very very dark, almost

A good friend of mine has been ttc for 5 months and has also charted for that time. Her luteal phase is only 9 days and although she is taking a high dose of vitamin B6 as recommended in TCOYF, so far this is not having any effect on the length of the phase.

| prior to pregnancy -- any prep? (over 40, esp) | 12 Sep 2007 23:29 GMT | 9 |
We're thiiiiinking about trying for child #3; it's an open question, given our respective ages, whether this will even be a possibility. Lately I've read about women going to the dentist, the OB, the PCP et al prior to trying to become pregnant, just wanting to be 'checked.'

| low placenta | 12 Sep 2007 23:13 GMT | 6 |
Just had my US at 19 weeks and was told that my placenta was low, not to worry and I should have it checked again at the end of my 2nd trimester. After reading about it a bit, I found that it is still early in the pregnancy and that the placenta usually moves along and it is no ...

| Suggestions on compact strollers with carseat | 12 Sep 2007 17:27 GMT | 3 |
Here's the situation. As our infant is growing and getting heavier, my wife is having a harder time lifting and carrying the carseat. We have a fullsize stroller that accepts the carseat, (the carseat snaps in), however it's big. I saw someone at the airport the other week who was

| IV Antibiotics Question | 10 Sep 2007 20:59 GMT | 10 |
I'm going to be giving birth in a hospital and I've tested GBS positive. Can the staff give me the antibiotics via a saline block/heparin lock, or will I need a full-on IV? I know I could refuse antibiotics, but I'm not going to. If they need to give me the IV to get the ...

| clomid info | 08 Sep 2007 21:44 GMT | 21 |
A lady mentioned to me she was about to start on clomid, she said she'd have one ultrasound first cycle and then she'd on her own. What I remember from this group is that this is not a great idea and the the ovaries should be monitored by ultrasound 48hrly to check there is

| I want to cry! | 06 Sep 2007 20:20 GMT | 3 |
I feel bad posting about my stuff when I'm generally just a lurker -- I'm sure it's bad netiquette and I do apologize, but in my community it's taboo to discuss a pregnancy before the first trimester has ended, so I can't talk to any of my friends here, and I'm having such
