I'm starting a new job at the end of March, and my plan is to put Jessica
into a nursery part time. She'll be starting daycare before I start my job
to make sure she settles in ok, and I've got a couple of places lined up to
see this week.

New to the group....
I have a question about all the statistics regarding "odds of
conceiving" during any given month. Studies say the odds of conceiving
in any given month are something like 20-30%, depending on several

braxton hicks21 Feb 2008 18:01 GMT6
When did everybody start feeling Braxton Hicks. I've just turned 16 weeks of
pregnancy and for the last week or two I have been feeling baby kick and I
swear that I am feeling mild braxton hicks contractions so was just
wondering if this is normal.
Choosing Sex...20 Feb 2008 05:04 GMT18
My girlfriend has two boys, and we've talked about having another baby
in depth.  But she is really worried about having another boy.  Our
first two are very active, and can be quite a handful.  She really
wants to have a girl and so do I.  I've read a little on timing
How To Lose Weight After Having A Baby20 Feb 2008 00:29 GMT1
After having a baby, new moms feel the urge to shed those unwanted
pounds. The average weight that is gained during a pregnancy is about
25 to 35 pounds. During the birth, an average of 12.5 to 14 pounds are
lost, leaving about 12 to 21 pounds of excess weight that can drive a
Baby poop stains...19 Feb 2008 04:02 GMT26
Ok, so it would appear as though little Rori has a knack for pooping
out of her diapers... I have tried several different brands looking
for that "better" fit, but no matter what kind of diaper she has on 9
out of 10 poops are up the back! As you can imagine this leaves many
Pregnancy after delivery19 Feb 2008 00:40 GMT1
I delivered my baby boy in November, and have been breastfeeding him
since.  He sleeps twelve hours at night, so I am assuming it is
possible for me to get pregnant.  I haven't had an official period,
but for the last few days I have had a discharge, that I keep thinking

Expecting a baby? You must be in a state of bliss, yet confounded by

transvaginal ultrasound limitations12 Feb 2008 16:39 GMT23
I could not find any information on the search engines, so I thought I
would ask here on the off chance that someone might know the answer...
I had a transvaginal ultrasound at 12 weeks, 4 days, performed by a
CNM (not an ultrasound tech).  She could not find anything in my
In Labor12 Feb 2008 00:08 GMT18
I seem to be in early labor.  I hoped the baby would wait a couple
days since I have a nasty virus and the kids are sick too, but I guess
it won't wait any longer.  After each contraction is over, I have
joint pains from the virus that seem to rove around my body and last
Cloth Diapers & Soapnuts11 Feb 2008 16:20 GMT5
My wife recently purchased a bag of soapnuts to use for cleaning cloth
