I also have been stymied finding civilizations not corrupted by the

The claim, by some Christianity motivated "researchers," such as
Lazrlere, is that child abuse went up in Sweden after the spanking ban.
The question should have been, did PARENTAL abuse of children go up?

Apparently not. But it looks like some folks, a rather large
contingent, think it's somewhere in the infant stage, with whips and
switches being used on them for crying.
