No-spanks as verbal abusers16 Jan 2006 01:57 GMT3
When pinned down, even radical feminists admit there is a problem with
verbal abuse.  For one thing, it is much more difficult to assess than
is physical abuse.  For another, laws do not define verbal abuse.
There can be no enforcement, only awareness of its insidious existence.

Since you don't believe in beating a child .............13 Jan 2006 18:25 GMT1
..............why aren't you proponents of "spanking," who I've noticed
tend also to accept and even encourage school paddling, up in arms
about such things as this?
Or do you think "paddlings" and "spankings" amount to the same thing?
Looking into the proverbial crystal ball13 Jan 2006 00:23 GMT8
As things spiral out of control among political elites in Washington
and with a good likelihood that a bursting of the American real estate
bubble is likely to precipitate a recession/depression worsened by an
energy crisis in an already weakened economy, the no-spank movement
The Claim studies have not been posted here....pure bunk.06 Jan 2006 19:05 GMT9
NO one has posted full studies here, from either side of the argument.
The fact is various quotes have been pulled and sources cited. Here are

here.
The question no-spanks fear.05 Jan 2006 00:43 GMT12
While many no-spanks are childless, some have children.  Although given
to bragging about never spanking their kid, they are much more
reluctant to say that their kid has never been spanked.  Then, that is
the nature of no-spank.  It is a dog and pony show filled with smoke
Dunderheaded no-spanks04 Jan 2006 23:57 GMT1
With their precious studies fast gathering dust and increased
questioning of the validity of research (the pain alleviator Vioxx and
once promising stem cell among more recent newsworthy examples),
dimwitted no-spanks have yet to figure out that parents only want
Laws are temporary.04 Jan 2006 19:04 GMT1
One of the great lessons that no-spanks and other radical liberals
often make in their references to organized slavery and women's rights
is in failing to acknowledge that a vast collection of laws perpetuated
both slavery and the rights movement.  No one in his right mind would
Monkey on no-spank's back02 Jan 2006 23:41 GMT1
It is up to no-spanks to prove to the satisfaction of parents that they
have the best interest of children at heart rather perpetuating a
self-serving agenda.  The more antagonistic no-spanks become, the more
questions they raise about both their childhoods and their motives.
