I've been thinking about this, in part because college search, application,
financing, etc. is a huge part of our lives lately.
It seems to me that people view the subject very differently.  There's a
spectrum from "the search for truth and knowledge is the meaning of life" to

am i insane to still celebrate my wedding anniversary and to expect some
form of compassion from others?!

See, and you think I don't pay attention to what you say.

this is getting irritating...i'm starting to get somewhere 'round fifty
emails a day (or more, the day's still young) that have a virus in
them....my norton is popping up every time and deleting the attachment, but
ya'll might wanna do a virus scan just to be safe...

The Step Mom said to my kids (I'm the mother), "You're only allowed one hug
and one kiss goodbye. And if you do more than that I will come straight out
of the van and tell your mom that I love you more than she does!"
This left my kids upset and now they are afraid when it's time ...
