I really need some advice my future 10 year old step daughter always
tries to dictate what her mother is doing. For example when we watch
TV at night to not wake the kids up we shut the door no biggie we
don't even lock it. She'll tell her mom "I don't like your door shut

Ok, this is totally OT, but I am so jazzed about this I have to tell.  Brian
and I are pretty big fans of the Christopher Guest movies, like "Best in Show"
and "A Mighty Wind".   (I *know* those people in "Best in Show", only in the
cat fancy.) Anyway, Brian was goofing around on ...

i guess i came here to get some advice.. but i really cant say i know
what to ask for:
i recently married a wonderful woman who is also my best friend.  we've
been together for the last 4 years - so her 5 year old son is very used

Last night I made dinner, trying to time it for when BF and SD got home from
cheerleading, finished earlier than planned and kept in on the warmer until
they got home. After sitting down, the first words out of SD's mouth were,
"My pasta is cold."

Well it's been about 3 weeks now since my SS was put on the new "plan" at
school.  If you need a refresher on the situation, read my post "At Wit's
End".  He spent several days in the isolation room, then a few in his SIED

How are you doing with this?  Are you between the fires and the coast?  I hate
this.  It's like the End of the World.  My eyes are burning, my head hurts, and
