Kids purchasing Christmas gifts23 Dec 2003 21:33 GMT56
Should I give my SS (13 this month) money to buy something for his dad?  For
his sister who lives in Florida?  What about for his biomom (also in Fla)?
Or for his friend?  Or, should he save up his allowance ($16 a week) and buy
those himself?

I took a kid in to stay for awhile.  She had spent the night in a
public bathroom stall, and I just couldn't say that she couldn't stay.
She's a friend of my son's and his girlfriend's.  Does anyone have
experience with this type of situation?  I did make her call home and

Son not coming home for Christmas :-(19 Dec 2003 07:14 GMT6
For the first time my son (19) won't be home for Christmas. He has to
work Christmas eve until 11:00pm and again on Boxing Day at 7:00 am and
he has decided that four hours on the bus Christmas day is just too much
(he doesn't drive). We would drive down and get him but we will ...

DH finally seeking CS16 Dec 2003 14:08 GMT2
Well after five years my DH is seeking CS for his three children. He
told his ex last night that she has to sit down with him and work out a
reasonable amount and payment schedule or return to court and let the
judge do it. This after BM claimed that she could not afford to buy
kid behavios around visitation16 Dec 2003 07:37 GMT16
   We've noticed a trend where the 2 youngest ( 6 and 7 ) tend to become
very disruptive in school and not minding at home a few days to a week
before they get to see BM.  As this point, they see her 1 weekend about
every 2 months.  My DH talks to them about their responsibilities ...

Barclay is trying to give up.  He's taking that prescriptive drug to
suppress his cravings and today's the first day that he hasn't had a single

I knew you would appreciate what he's going through.

It took 2 weeks for the phone company to get our main line transferred
over.  They didn't get our data line done until YESTERDAY.  I just got
time to hook the computer up to the line Chewy and I ran to the desk,
and now I'm downloading 26,823 emails.
