This case has been in the NY news for over a week now.  Now it seems to be
going national.  Sadly every story leaves details out, but a google news search
can help fill in some stuff here and there.

A while back we were discussing how some of us were blubbering over
the whole "kids headed off for college, leaving the nest thing".  At
that time, I said I hadn't gone through any of that.
