This weekend, SD, SO, my son and myself headed to the beach to spend some

Some of you may remember that I'd not spoken with my father in 7 yrs,
until just before this past Christmas.  Saturday, Chewy and I called
to ask if he wanted to go to dinner.  We drove the hour and a half to
his place and took him to a little cafe.  We talked for abt 2 hrs.  It

I know all kids are the same regarding the basics in life. I was a kid once
too. A looooong time ago. I don't think I ever tried to get on my parents or
step parents nerves. I know I did but I didn't Try to do it. My SS is
driving me crazy again. Sometimes I think if I had it to do ...

making something for mother's day.  They do JACK for father's ...

I was reading an article about Tony Blair yesterday.  What is the difference
between the political parties over there (Conservative, Labor and I forgot the
other one - something Democrat, IIRC.)  I was reading it at work and could not
pay full attention to it since I was feeding a ...

Of Eggs and Broody Hens15 Jun 2004 13:31 GMT8
For the past week or so, we'd been wondering what was going on with
the hens.  The kids were only bringing in 2-6 each day, rather than
the usual 10-14.  Maybe the heat was getting to the hens, we thought.
Tonight, we decided to move the pullets into the hen house with the

Well, SS's half sister phoned today to speak with him, she will be living

Apparently, BM left on the big move this past Friday.  The ...

DH built a new computer for me last week. Of course being techie challanged

Well, after calling my ISP and finding out that the problem was actually on
their end (they no longer support a server for USNet) it ...
Interesting Case14 Jun 2004 23:08 GMT147
http://www.nydailynews.com/front/story/198381p-171238c.html
This case has been in the NY news for over a week now.  Now it seems to be
going national.  Sadly every story leaves details out, but a google news search
can help fill in some stuff here and there.

A while back we were discussing how some of us were blubbering over
the whole "kids headed off for college, leaving the nest thing".  At
that time, I said I hadn't gone through any of that.
