Ok I am back on this again.  I have been raped or feels like it from my 14

OK, Actual Parenting-StepParenting Issue28 May 2006 00:45 GMT8
YD has come to me about an issue she is having.  We're hoping it's a
depression issue and not something deeper.  She's 16yo, her 18yo bf
joined the Marines and is stationed in NC, she's continually upset with
and worried about OS18, *and* she decided today to call her bio-mom for

Trying to Hold It Together21 May 2006 23:25 GMT36
Here's something I posted in another group.  Part of the problem I
posted about is shear exhaustion from the things y'all know about from
the past 6-and-a-half years, and I didn't post it all, as I'm sure you
realize.  None of us post everything going on with us.

Wedding Update16 May 2006 01:59 GMT3
OK, trying this again.  Tried to type an update last night, but between
exhaustion and having to deal with a YD issue, it took me a couple
hours to get it typed, and then our router decided to flake.
The wedding went beautifully.  OD was absolutely gorgeous.
Happy Mother's Day14 May 2006 19:19 GMT2
I hope you all have a great Mom's Day!  I plan on taking a day to relax and
do nothing - at least no committments today.
With hope and heart,
Kathleen
Someone Shoot Me Now!13 May 2006 19:42 GMT12
OD(25) is getting married Saturday.  In 5 days.
A few months back, when she was getting ready to send out invitations,
we discussed numbers.  Chewy and I are paying for the reception, her
bio-mom is paying for the wedding.  As we were discussing numbers, she
Newest Challenges with OS09 May 2006 15:08 GMT33
OS18 moved out on his own last June, along with the friend who'd been
living with us for a year-and-a-half, doing a "real life skills" aspect
to his education.  (He finished the academic portion the end of May
last year.)  He's still going through a lot of changes on his own and

Custody or Child Protective Services?07 May 2006 20:39 GMT20
On the advice of our marriage counselor, I moved out a month ago for (in
theory) three months.  The major problem in our marriage was my wife's
teenage daughter (my step-daughter) who's 15 years old.  She was
completely out of control.  Running off every chance she could to drink ...
Update on Newest Rescues06 May 2006 13:02 GMT4
Well, little Mr. Attitude has settled in pretty well.  So's the little
doeling we picked up the same day.
We got a good bit of the colostrum I'd frozen into each of them, and
now we're putting powdered colostrum into milk replacer.  They've gotta
ROFL - Funny New Rescue04 May 2006 14:06 GMT2
The kids had their science classes today in G-town, so we were up and
out fairly early.  8:30am, just after they got out of the truck to go
inside, I got a phone call.  It's our friend who calls us for rescues.
They've got a newborn for me to pick up, when can I come get it?
