I'm a new member, and I'd like to share with you what my life was like
with a bad stepmother, and then invite responses.  I choose this topic,
because I am a former fundamentalist Christian, and if we weren't
hearing "God" every sunday, we were hearing "don't blame your stupid

YS is scheduled to arrive home on Wednesday.  Everyone's been looking

For the past several days, he's been calling home every night.  Unusual

Teenager/stepparent turmoil in the home26 Jul 2006 02:15 GMT3
Hopefully some can help me here.  My son is 17 and a typical teenage
boy.  My husband doesn't want him in the house.  He says he is
disrespectful and he doesn't like him.  My son does not do anything any
other teenage boy does.  In fact everyone always tells me how

I once again am probably rocking the boat here but I need some
impartial advice. I am 28 years of age. At the age of ten my mother
died tragically. I was the youngest and all my siblings were in
boarding school. I was always close to my most amazing father and still

He starts a new job tomorrow.  Yippee!!!
I'm soooo happy he's dug in and gotten a job so quickly!  I was afraid
he'd mess around and not get a job, then get in with the wrong crowd
again.
Obviously, I have too much time on my hands18 Jul 2006 22:23 GMT36
Did you know, on google groups, you can now view a profile of people
subscribed to a newsgroup?  I clicked on my own, it shows what groups I
belong too (okay, well, this one, anyway), how many posts I've done life to
date, and a month-by-month of numbers that you can click on to ...
Moving with step-child18 Jul 2006 12:18 GMT68
I am in the military, in one province for training.  While I was here, I
met a girl who has a 4-year old daughter.  Once I complete my training,
in January, I will be posted to my unit which will be in a different
province.

More with OS18 Jul 2006 02:34 GMT3
Two more days until we fly him to Wisconsin.  I stopped by TF's house
to get the money I'd given to OS for a new photo ID the other day,
knowing he'd not gotten the ID and my gas tank was red-lining.  Chewy's
pay-day is tomorrow, so we can go for the ID then.

It must be because I've posted to this group again, and I happened to
mention that I haven't seen BM for two years.  So WTF do you think happened?
I saw her tonight.  I wanted to gouge my eyes out with a spoon.  Is that
normal?
