When do they start talking???21 Oct 2003 15:44 GMT3
I know some day I'm going to be saying 'why did I ever encourage you
to speak', but right now I'm really ready for the boys to start
talking!  They are almost 20 months old and just point to things and
say 'da', which is their word for 'that'.  It's getting pretty
questions to ask pediatricians?21 Oct 2003 04:21 GMT4
Can anyone offer suggestions on questions to ask/things I might
want to know as we begin to interview pediatricians?  I'm pretty
set on the practice, now it's just a matter of choosing which of
the 7 or 8 doctors we like the best.
I'm kind of cheesed off!19 Oct 2003 23:21 GMT26
MIL was over this past weekend for Thanksgiving and also an early
birthday for Katerina and Joshua.
She gave them one birthday card! I irks me to no end!
It's not a huge deal in the grand scheme of things but extremely
Expecting Twins SOON!18 Oct 2003 07:14 GMT5
Me and my husband are expecting our first children.  I am 25 and he is 23.
They believe they're identical twin girls.  I'm now 35 weeks along and
counting.  I've been having some contractions and am already dilated 3-4 cm,
75% effaced.  I've been dilated for about 2 weeks now.  ...
Party games ?17 Oct 2003 17:17 GMT4
So here I am having the clever idea that we'd do party games and
Halloween-themed crafts for the party.  Crafts are fine -- I got the
supplies and we're all set.  Cakes are set (spider cupcakes and black cat
birthday cake, thank you Betty Crocker).  "Birthday crowns" will be
NEED MORE PARTY TIPS...HELP!17 Oct 2003 17:05 GMT5
My boys are turning 3 on October 31st....yes that's Halloween...and the
inevitable b'day theme is Halloween.  What are some of your experiences with
entertaining 3-year olds on such a double event?  I'm relatively clueless
but have figured out the need for an entertainer.
Isn't language wonderful?16 Oct 2003 03:52 GMT3
I know it isn't all due to language acquisition but also personality
disposition but Joshua is settling into being a little toddler very well.
He is now going to his bed for naps and bedtime without having to be
asleep. All he wants is a cuddle from me for one or two minutes.
Strollers15 Oct 2003 13:53 GMT14
My son and daughter-in-law are about to have twins 11 months after
their first born.
Has anyone seen or heard of three individual strollers that can be
somehow connected together or disconnected.  Seems like it would be
Gift ideas for boys age 7 (a young 7) ?14 Oct 2003 13:09 GMT13

Twin nick names?13 Oct 2003 14:43 GMT17
When Jordan and Madison were learning to talk they called each other "Dordan"
and "Ma-ison."  Then for some reason they started calling each other "Ju-Ju"
(or "Baby Ju-Ju") and "Maa-Maa" for many months (probably close to a year).
Then they started calling each other by their names, ...

anyone remember me?  09 Oct 2003 21:19 GMT3
Hi, just wondering if there are people here who remember me; I lived in
Israel and had b/g twins named Emily and Edan, born March 1, 1999.  We moved
back to the US (Florida) about 2 years ago and I haven't had access to the
newsgroup until today!  I've so missed reading it.  BTW, ...
i need fundraising ideas ASAP!09 Oct 2003 14:46 GMT3
everyone is required to come up with something worth at least $40 for
the fall auction for the girls' preschool. kelly got all excited and
wanted her dad, a carpenter,  to make a wooden sleigh (he made them
for the girls). problem is, he FORGETS about our deadline or maybe
How am I supposed to do this?06 Oct 2003 23:45 GMT4
I don't think I've been this close to the end of my rope since the boys were
in hospital.  I feel like I must be the world's most incompetent mother.
I can't handle being in the house alone with the boys.  If I don't have
another adult with me to help me, the boys start crying, ...
