Sippy Cups29 Feb 2004 02:02 GMT2
I would like to thank whoever it was that recommend "This First Years" cups
as first sippy cups.  I think my girls have finally got it!  Also, they are
the easiest spill proof cups to wash because they don't have those extra
plastic pieces inside the cap.  Very inexpensive too!
Together or Separate?28 Feb 2004 20:21 GMT8
Next month Jordan and Madison will be getting three shots at their four
year-old check up.  I am trying to decide if I should make separate
appointments for them or take them in at the same time.  I can see pros and
cons for doing both.  They haven't had a shot since they were two ...
Booster seat question27 Feb 2004 16:12 GMT2
We have the Alpha Omega car seats that can be used as booster seats and I had
planned to use them until the girls were 80 pounds (which will probably be
college-age for Jordan)  :)   However, I recently saw some booster seats on
sale that can be used from 30-80 pounds.  It is a ...
wanted: tips for entertaining infants27 Feb 2004 16:09 GMT2
I was wondering if anyone has any tips for how to entertain 4 month
old babies.
My girls spend time on their bouncy seats, hitting toys and we do some
tummy time every day. They are just starting to get into books, but
Sharing medicine bottle...trip to hospital27 Feb 2004 16:06 GMT2
Yesterday, my daughter called at 6 a.m. to say that the boys had gotten hold of
their Dimetap bottle and shared it.  Called Poison Control, they said since
there was no way of knowing who drank how much -- worst case scenario would be
followed, that one of the boys drank it all.  ...

Hitting, Pushing, Pulling Hair  :{26 Feb 2004 01:16 GMT10
My girls have been hitting & pushing each other and pulling hair more than
usual lately.  While I know this is normal behavior for this age, I was
wondering if anyone has any tips on how to deal with it?  I send them to
time-out, but it doesn't seem to do any good.
From Cribs to Beds23 Feb 2004 21:13 GMT5
Two weeks ago I switched my 21-month-old girls from cribs to toddler beds.
Every night since then has been a battle.  It takes almost two hours to get
them to bed.  They run around the room, pull all the clothes out of their
drawers and scream in the doorway (we have a gate at the ...
twins23 Feb 2004 02:10 GMT13
I just subscribed to the newsgroup.  I have twin girls who will turn 1 yr
old on March 14.  Their names are Rayna and Rowan.  I couldn't have asked
for better babies.  They've slept all night since we brought them home.
They hardly ever fuss unless they're tired.  We just built an ...
Birthday present question22 Feb 2004 17:50 GMT17
Jordan and Madison have been invited to a classmate's birthday party.  The
invitation had "please no gifts" on it.  I want to respect the parents' no gift
decision, but I feel bad about going to a party and not bringing anything.
Would it be appropriate to either donate a book to ...
Dinnertime22 Feb 2004 17:49 GMT8
I am curious to know everyone's policy for kids at mealtimes.  We have been
struggling with one of our girls particularly at dinnertime.  It doesn't matter
what I make, if she's eaten it a dozen times before, if she's eaten it the day
before and liked it-- she says she doesn't ...
Behavior problems...please help!22 Feb 2004 17:44 GMT4
Madison has been getting into so much trouble lately and nothing seems to be
working to get her behavior to improve.  In the past week-and a-half she has
cut her clothes with scissors at school twice.  Yesterday she got put into
time-out at preschool and had a note sent home from ...
Ping: Janet22 Feb 2004 17:39 GMT3
What did the doctor say about using Mineral oil.
I am very curious because in my dad's condition the doctors never brought it
up but used every single anticonstipant known to "modern" medicine with no
luck.
Pregnancy/delivery regrets22 Feb 2004 17:21 GMT9
Four months ago, I gave birth (via emergency c-section when my water
broke) to beautiful twin girls. They were 8 weeks early and spent
three weeks in the NICU, but I'm happy to say that they are both now
healthy, happy, & beautiful babies who are developing well.
I am head over heals in LOVE!17 Feb 2004 20:21 GMT11
Short version:  Isabella Zora was born the evening of February 12 via
repeat c-section.  She was 8 lb. 4 oz.
Long version:  It all started on January 31st.  I started having
contractions about 1 pm every 20 minutes apart.  By 10 pm, the
