learning to talk wrong19 Jul 2004 20:57 GMT3
In one of his classic comedy sketches, Steve Martin talks about screwing up
your kids by teaching them to 'talk wrong.'  He says (paraphrased from
memory), "...whenever you're around your kids, talk wrong.  Then on their
first day of kindergarten, when they need to go to the ...

My twins don't pay any attention to each other.17 Jul 2004 19:18 GMT6
I have twin boys - 11 months old.  They talk and smile to adults and older
children, but they don't seem to notice each other yet.  They play around
each other and take toys away from each other.  Is that normal?

Does anyone have a crib tent that they would be willing to let me
borrow? I, of course, will pay for shipping. Alexis has started climbing
out and we are in no way ready for a toddler bed. Thanks!

Gas14 Jul 2004 22:17 GMT6
One of my 7 week old boys has what appears to be pretty painful gas, and an
umbilical hernia as well.
We tried Milicon and are currently giving him Zantac(sp?)  for reflux, but
to see him uncomfortable is hard.
attention in public13 Jul 2004 22:36 GMT2
Whenever I go out with the girls, I get showered with attention -- always
asked the same questions too, but that was covered in an older thread (a few
months ago).  I have two questions about this.  First of all, does it let up
when the twins get older, or do twins get showered with ...
Twins are EVIL, the DEVIL created them !13 Jul 2004 20:07 GMT5
Twins are EVIL, they're the work of the devil, made to collect your
souls and to turn you into brainless slaves of hell.
If you like twins, you will lose your soul to be damned
for eternal torment in hell.Demons and devils will feast on your soul

My wife is 35 weeks (today!) pregnant with boy/girl twins.  We expect them
anyday now.  Does anyone have a good book to recommended about rasing twins?
We have been happy with some of the general books about kids that we have
bought, but haven't found any of the books at the local ...
severe diaper rash12 Jul 2004 13:56 GMT14
Does anyone have suggestions as to how to treat severe diaper rash?  Aimee
has had diarrhea for a while, and as a result has a bright red diaper rash
that is raw and swollen, and bleeding in some of the raw spots.  I have
tried Zincofax and Aveeno and neither of those two creams ...

This local family has triplets on the way and already have a singleton and

Twins Update11 Jul 2004 17:31 GMT12
I've been a poster, but mostly lurker here for probably six years (the age
of my boys).
Since I don't post all that often, I don't suspect many of you know me or my
family, but I thought I'd post a bit of an update on my boys, Dustin and
