Adjustment Problems...please help31 Aug 2004 02:51 GMT6
Madison has been having a difficult time with me going back to work and I don't
know how to help her to deal with it better. She has tantrums constantly over
every little thing. If I tell her to get dressed she falls on the floor and has
a tantrum. Trying to get her to clean up her ...
Strong willed child (11 mo old)30 Aug 2004 20:06 GMT11
My son Andy is VERY strong willed.  We have areas in our house that are
blocked off for various reasons (keep away from electrical chords, away from
TV and equipment, stairs, etc.)  Andy seems to continually find ways to get
past the barriers and go where he does not belong, and of ...
My 2 are turning 2, birthday ideas???30 Aug 2004 20:06 GMT2
With so many of our babies turning 2 I thought I would pick your brains for
party ideas.  I was thinking of renting a bouncing castle and just having a
small party with family and our 4 friends from play group.  My two love to jump
so I thought it would be fun for them.

Kindergarten!!27 Aug 2004 00:00 GMT6
We have made it through the first two days of Kindergarten!!!  Everything has
gone relatively smoothly-- for the girls anyway-- I was pretty much a basket
case for most of yesterday morning, but did a good job of hiding it from the
girls with some help from DH.  No real tears ...
Getting into Things at 4....Help!26 Aug 2004 23:59 GMT5
I swear I posted a similar post to this when my kids were around 1 1/2 - 2 and
now here I am again at age 4.  My girls, Jordan especially, have been getting
into *everything* lately. I thought that by age 4 they would be over this by
now, but they seem to have regressed lately. This ...
Some doctors can be so STUPID26 Aug 2004 19:49 GMT11
Ok.  I just have to say this.
My sons Andrew and Benjamin were sick this past week with vomiting and
diarrhea.  We took them to the emergency room 2x for it.  The ER docs gave
us some suppositories which were to help with the vomiting.  It worked for

sage advice needed - kindergarten related24 Aug 2004 15:39 GMT28
Okay, I sent out a letter to the school requesting that the boys be placed in
the same class - you've heard the whole diatribe before so I won't bore you
with the details.
Well, they called today saying that the boys will be in different classes.
Everything is a competition - HELP22 Aug 2004 18:01 GMT5
OK, so we have begun the stage of competing at everything.  The boys will be
four in October.  No matter what they are doing...getting dressed, eating a
meal, walking up the steps, putting on their sandals, it's "I won! I won!" from
whomever got done first, leaving the other one in ...
Just to add to my woes ... MONSTERS22 Aug 2004 02:05 GMT4
At 1:20am last night, Holly screeched the house down about MONSTERS.  She
was shaking like a leaf and for speed (shame on me) I took her into bed with
me -- where she slept just fine except for insisting we keep the light on
and screeching the three times I also had to get up to ...
